Wonderful place with delicious breakfast, careful and friendly hosts. The location is perfect with amazing view on the mountains! Highly recommend this hotel!

I was met by very friendly staff (there is a nice restaurant in the same building). They really cared about me and gave me appreciated tips what to explore in town, had brochures at hand. I felt welcome and they were always attentive to detail and service-oriented. Location is perfect, few meters from the railway station, the border, both city centres within easy reach by foot. I could store my luggage there, which was a great service.

Rooms were close to the railway station and offered good value for money in high summer. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and had air conditioning. Staff were friendly and apologetic about the two small issues we encountered.

Great location: close to Nova Gorica city center, railways and bus station, to Castagnevizza monastery as well as to Gorizia city center. Hosts were very kind, polite, welcoming and always ready to reply by msg or call to any need!

Very agreeable little hotel which doubles as a gourmet restaurant. It's well worth dining here; the dinner was not too expensive and absolutely delicious, one of the best meals I have had in Slovenia! Very charming and helpful chap on duty at reception, who also later waited attentively on me at dinner, and who efficiently arranged a taxi to take me to Grad Kromberk. Perfect location for the railway station and an easy walk into the town centre as well as to the fortress of Italian Gorizia. Efficient air conditioning a relief during a heat wave. Comfortable room.

Staff were very helpful. I arrived late and needed to depart early but they were very welcoming and showed me the room and explained everything that I needed to know. Room amd bathroom were very clean. Shower was very good. Also very quiet. A very convenient location if arriving or departing by train

“Perfect welcome to Slovenia”

The service was wonderful. Same staff as in the restaurant downstairs where we had our best meal in Slovenia, here on our first night. The waiting staff were so knowledgeable and welcoming. The room was comfortable and close to the train station which was ideal.

Good location equidistant between the centres of Nova Gorica and Gorizia, 10-15 minute walk to either, similar walk to the monastery and bus station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant and bar on the ground floor - I’d definitely recommend eating there.

Hotel booked due to having its own restaurant and its proximity to the station. We knew it was slightly out of town. However we didn't expect to find the hotel shut due to vacation. We were let in, after a phone call. Noone else (staff included ) was in the hotel all night. The exterior door was kept unlocked so we could go in and out. There was no food available. Our only option was to go into town during a rain storm.! We were not informed of this prior to our stay. The fact that Booking.com thinks this is acceptable means we will never book through them again.

“Disappointing. Great location when I needed to get to Nova Gorica station to travel into Sloveniia.”

I booked this room because it was very close to the station and had a restaurant, however it turned out not to be near the station I came into (although I had tried to find out if they were the same - Nova Gorica is in Slovenia and Gorizia in Italy) and when I finally got there, having been told that someone was there from 11 am, there was no one. Also, the restaurant happened to be closed for the week and there wasn't anywhere nearby to eat.
