“Great cheap basic no frills hotel”

This is a basic no frills hotel. We used it as a stop to split a journey. The young man on was very friendly and gave us a lot of information of local restaurants and bakeries. The double room we had was very spacious with a large, I would call it a king size bed, and a great air con unit. Also in the room was a TV and normal bedroom furniture, but not a lot else. The bathroom was also spacious with a stand in bath/shower which worked well with good water pressure. Down in the reception area is a snack machine and tea/coffee vending unit.

“Great place”

Check I really liked the bed it was big and very comfortable, I slept very well. The person who contacted me from the accommodation was very kind and helped me to check in after hours. The room was very clean, well maintained. TV available and free internet. Although I stayed from Thursday to Friday, it was quiet overnight both in the hotel and outside. Downstairs, in the hallway, at the entrance there is a refrigerator with various products for a fee, reasonably priced. Very reasonable check-out times and, as I said, late check-out is possible, but it is good to contact the host in advance. Some people will probably think that the view from the window is not very good, because you can see a wall and a small walkway located very close. But this was only in the case of my room and for me it was not a negative thing. I don't even want to mention this aspect in the "what you didn't like" section so as not to give a negative character to a positive experience. Security at the windows was however ensured with the help of wooden blinds, which could be folded down to ensure discretion, additionally ensured with thick curtains. The result was complete darkness, ideal for sleeping.

The communication before our arrival was perfect! We got the room with the little fridge, as I asked for, and got the instructions for self check-in since we arrived after reception working hours. Everything is clean in the room, comfortable beds, and A/C to adjust the temperature. It is easy to find and looks amazing at night with palm trees in front of the hotel!

“Many issues”

I gave this place this grade mostly thanks to the very friendly receptionist, the large parking area, and the fact that the bed sheets were clean.

“Clean, comfortable rooms, great host”

The host was absolutely wonderful – very kind, attentive, and always ready to help. When I had an issue with the bathroom, he immediately arranged another room for me without any hesitation. He also took the time to share some really helpful tips about the area and even suggested a beautiful hike I could enjoy with my dog. His friendliness really made all the difference during my stay. I actually came here mainly to escape a storm, so I didn’t explore much. The place is located in a small village that feels more like a stopover than a destination, which was perfectly fine for my situation. Most of my time I spent in the room, which was clean and comfortable. It was also very practical that guests can use the fridge for their own food and borrow dishes and cutlery from the restaurant, even though it is currently closed. Since I had food with me from my camper, that worked out perfectly. The hotel itself is a bit dated and more suitable for short stays rather than longer holidays, but thanks to the host’s warm hospitality, I left with a very positive impression.

The price

Quiet location. Parking just outside. The manager was going to give us information on where to eat in the evening but when I said we had some food with us he said we could eat in the breakfast room. He showed us where the plates, cups and cutlery where. There was also a fridge we could use and a kettle. We had a lovely 'picnic' that evening.

Rooms are big, comfortable beds. Very clean and tidy. Stuff is very friendly and hospitable. Location is great. Very quiet and cozy place. Prices are good too. There is a kitchen where you can prepare breakfast. Nice free parking.

Good value for price: big room, confortable bed, excellent shower and great position. Oliver, the receptionist was very kind and helpful. We recommend this hotel to those who are on a long trip and are looking for a convenient and practical accomodation for a night stop over.

It ticked all the boxes for us. The room was big, very comfortable, no carpet,very clean. I liked the little entrance with another door, giving you that extra privacy. There is a breakfast area avaliable where you can boil the kettle, warm up your meal in the microwave or store it in the fridge /freezer. We used the facilities every day, it was quite convenient. And of course the owner Oliver , or the employee of the year, was super kind and very knowledgeable about the area. He would always know the best place to visit or where to eat.

Very close to the Italian border making it easy to drive to Italy for dinner and gelato. Good value for money as well.
