Enjoying a quiet location and surrounded by greenery, Guest House Šterk is located 4 km from the centre of Nova Gorica. With a tradition since 1965 and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. “A charming welcome to Slovenia”
A very convenient stopover en route from Italy to Slovenia which felt a million miles from the Italian style hotels just across the border, what with the misty valley location and the stone sign in gothic font welcoming us from the parking area. The mother and daughter team were very helpful and friendly, and our room was perfectly comfortable. We found a wonderful log cabin restaurant hidden in the woods for dinner and had a charming cultural experience to get our holiday underway.

We had a lovely stay at Šterk! The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, and our room was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Special thanks to the owner for her warm hospitality — it truly made our stay memorable. Highly recommended!

The room was really nice, spacious, perfect for 2 people. We were welcomed really nicely, breakfast option was delicious, a lot of food choices for everybody and coffee. Private parking which was great.

“Nice place in the nature, one step from Nova Gorica.”
The lady that welcomed us was very kind. We liked the surroundings, the donkey near the car park was super cute and friendly and was a great surprise in the morning. The room was big and comfy, like the shower. The temperature good even if we weren't able to manage it (I don't know why but the remote wasn't working).
