“Wonderful host, lovely room and fantastic breakfast!”
We were given a very warm welcome. It was an extremely hot day and we were given iced water and a large fan in the room which was an unexpected and lovely touch! The garden is beautiful and relaxing and we were treated to an excellent breakfast in the morning. We would have no hesitation staying here again?!

“We had a lovely stay with the perfect hosts and would definitely stay again if we are in that area.”
We chose this property as we were visiting Oradour Sur Glane, scene of a WW11 village massacre and it was about 22 minutes away. The property was in a nice quiet spot down a country lane. Less than a 5 minute drive from Nouic. There was free Wi-Fi in public areas. Sue and Ron couldn’t do enough for us, just as previous reviews have said. We arrived in the afternoon of what was a national French holiday, we were worried that nowhere would be open to eat. Sue made a call and managed to get us in at a lovely restaurant at Mortemart, which was about a 10 min drive away. The rear garden was lovely with plenty of seats and we had a nice drink in the sun. The continental breakfast was excellent and plenty of it, served in a nice breakfast room.

“A perfect place to stay”
The welcome from Ron and Sue throughout the stay - the perfect host! Just as a final note the price of 85 euros for the room we had plus a wonderful breakfast was low in comparison to other places we have stayed at recently - personally 110 - 120 euros would have been a reasonable price to pay for what we enjoyed.

A genuine warm welcome on arrival. A beautiful well tended sunny garden where one can enjoy a sundowner. Spacious immaculate accommodation with beautiful décor and attention to detail. The peace and tranquillity in such a beautiful haven gave me a feeling of well being & serenity. Wonderful friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast.
