A fantastic, bounty-like location and a very attentive host. Olivier was most helpful in every matter. Breakfast was wonderful and filling, and lunches and dinners were delicious and inexpensive (6-7 euros), with fresh seafood and special requests available. Thanos was the friendliest dog I've ever met, and he will surely join you on a sup ride!

“Paradise on Komba”

Location, location, location! The gardens, surrounding nature, coral reef right off the beach, and sunsets were stunning. The staff are really friendly and the food was tasty! Definitely recommend for those seeking a quiet retreat with easy access to fun day trips. Payment was very easy and convenient via Revolut (a great relief in a cash-centric country) Thanks again!

We had an amazing few nights at C'est La Vie for the end of our honeymoon. Olivier and his team went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable! They cooked the most delicious food, so varied and fresh, and were always helpful whatever we needed. The place is a little heaven! Whether you want to relax in the beautiful garden, explore the island or enjoy snorkelling and paddling in the blue waters, it has it all! :)

“Tropical paradise”

We spent amazing 4 days on beautiful Nosy Komba. The whole property makes you feel like in a tropical heaven, the views are amazing. Olivier went an extra mile to make sure we had everything what we needed. I cannot skip mentioning the delicious food in the restaurant, all the meals were so tasty. There are plenty of options for you how to spend the day, Olivier was always there to answer any question. The accomodation itself is beautiful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our best stay ever! The food was absolutely amazing, mostly fresh fish and seafood caught that very morning from the ocean. The rum was phenomenal too! Our room was perfect, with great attention to every little detail. The location couldn’t be better, close to local villages where you can meet friendly locals and see authentic island life. The staff were wonderful, very polite, always smiling, and made sure we had everything we needed. And finally, Olivier was the best host we’ve ever had. He took care of us even before we arrived and made sure every part of our stay was special. Forget about booking tours through agencies, because Olivier can organise all the same trips and experiences directly from his villa, at great prices and with a personal touch. We can’t recommend this place enough - a true little paradise in Nosy Komba! 🌴🐚

We had a really nice stay at C’est La Vie. The staff were very friendly and service-minded. On short notice, the manager Olivier helped us arrange both tours and transport, which we really appreciated. The food was good, the location great, and the surroundings beautiful. A very pleasant and relaxed place to stay – we’d happily come back.

Lovely secluded beach, crystal clear water, a tropical garden with exotic plants …. It felt like been on an island with Robinson Crusoe(our host Olivier). Comfortable room wit stunning sea view, healthy breakfasts with fruit from the garden, delicious catch-of-the-day dinners and an ever helpful host, wanting only the best for his guests…. In short, a perfect stay! Wish we could go back some day

Perfect for a few nights stay. The island and surrounding areas of interest are only accessible by boat which felt really magical. The hosts were lively and accommodating.

Staying with Olivier was a wonderful experience. His boat delivers you to the property, landing on a little beach, from which you climb up to the rambling gardens and the various accommodations, all with panoramic views of the ocean, Nosey-Be and mainland Madagascar. This is a simple,, uncluttered,, rustic way of life. Set near Malagasy fishing villages, wildlife freely visit and locals greet you with a smile or wave. Fish freshly plucked from the sea and homegrown fruit and vegetables are prepared and served by Olivier, who is flexible and accommodating with the menu. Olivier arranges various trips, encouraging you to get the most from your time and pocket. A Malagasy massage is an excellent way to relax and was arranged without fuss at short notice. This is the kind of place travel writers would like to keep for themselves ... .. you will leave rested and feeling at one with nature. Thank you, Olivier!! G T

We travel a lot, we have already visited many accommodations in the world, but we have never met such warmth as here...🩷Oliver😘, very few people can do this👍. Accomodation in a beautiful garden with a beautiful view of the sea, clean, excellent food, we enjoyed the gifts of the sea. Everything was perfect👍

Wonderful few days here...very relaxed & peaceful. Great deck over the ocean, fabulous bed swing to lounge on. Plenty of lounging areas & excellent hosts (and pets). 😁 Highly recommended. 👍
