Amazing place. We were not blessed with the weather though, so we were a little bit stuck in the house. Be careful, there could be snow on the road to get there (4th june) so always check the weather forecast and come prepared for the northfjord. The road is very bumpy so go slowly, but it is all very worth it

“Most beautiful settlement in Iceland”
Norðurfjörður and Árnes one of the most beautiful and isolated settlements in Iceland. Try to see the Blæja waterfall if you can. Accommodation very good when you think of where you are.

“Beautiful view in a cozy welcoming place!”
The host was super accommodating about our later arrival time and very welcoming when we did arrive. The view was truly breathtaking even on the cloudy day we were there, and the decor in the home was very lovely as well.

The accommodation was very nicely furnished. Absolutely clean and had everything you need. Very clean kitchen, bathroom. Fantastic view right on the sea. Very very nice owner. The stay was perfect! Gravel roads leading to it is awesome for adventure motorcyclists. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Full kitchen to cook whatever you fancy. Great view and great friendly hosts.
