The breakfast was good There is no parking Near the hotel to speak of And the hotel had not made arrangements at All for guests parking You were left to find a space somewhere In the city too park which is not what you Require after you have driven along way To get to Norcia This is not expected of a relais and chateau Hotel The bedroom was clean but the mattress Was too hard and the sidelights at the Bedside were so dim and unsatisfactory For reading We will not be staying there again

Incredible location in the center of Norcia. The historic building is majestic, with impressive interiors, bringing you back to its prime era. The staff will give you the best experience possible, they accommodated all our needs, and the ones of our 3-months baby. You must try the wellness facilities and the Vespasia, Michelin star restaurant, part of the same building (unfortunately we couldn’t). For a more casual, but still qualitative food experience, try their other restaurant “Granaro del monte”, right in front of the hotel. You will always find great gluten-free options, as good as the original dishes, all prepared with the best products from the area. Last but not least, don’t miss their breakfast, located right aside Vespasia, you will enjoy a beautiful atmosphere, with a high selection of typical pastries, meat and cheese, from the tradition, facing a breathtaking view on the mountains. A very good way to start the day. Useless to say that you will be located in the Umbria’s heart, at 1 hour by car from all the most beautiful locations around. We’ll be back.

I loved the classic style and charm of the hotel. There were lovely quiet areas to sit and relax, including the wonderful library. The views from the hotel are stunning and yet it is so accessible to the village, where you can wander to find some excellent food and drinks.
