“Wonderful troglodyte stay in the Loire Valley”

Such a charming troglodyte cave in the Loire Valley - lovely wood burner to keep us cosy. Our host was very friendly and helpful too! The bathroom was fabulous and the bed very comfortable

This was a very unique property in the beautiful countryside, built into a cave and cleverly converted, it has parking , a log burner room to cook and dine. We only had one night as our plans changed and had to cut our stay short, great location and views.

We loved being hidden away - it was very private. It was great to be in the cool cave interior whilst the weather was so hot outside. The shower was good and the bed comfortable which isn’t always the case.

The best parts about this accommodation are the location and the bathroom. The shower is great, it is spacious and there are two sinks.

We didn't realise that we were going to be staying on a Car Park, with outside area not worth mentioning. The kitchen was very minimal with only 1wooden spoon and 1spatula, no English instructorions on anything. No possibility of unpacking, as no storage for clothes. Everything was constantly damp.

This was the most amazing property, good value. We loved sitting on the patio after sightseeing all day. The home had everything needed to prepare meals. It was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Made a really good home base for seeing all the chateaux in the region. Highly recommend a stay here, it is cool to stay in a cave!

The owner met us at the property and showed us everything. The cave apartment was charming and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower very hot.

A wonderfully unique property in the centre of the Loire Valley, perfectly located beside vineyards, and close to Vouvray. A gorgeous and authentic cave experience, with very friendly hosts. Beautiful bedding, log fire which was lit for us, and decorated in very chic French style. Worries highly recommend if visiting Loire.

Unique place to stay. Nice countryside location in amongst the vineyards, very quiet and pretty. Great shower room and nicely presented accommodation. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked like everything you would need was available.

Excellent quality of fitments and ambiance. Very stylish interior. Friendly welcome. Helpful and discreet personnel.
