“Manage your expectations. This is an old, decrepit chateau set in a nice location.”
It has this charming, old-world ambience set right at the heart of the chateau region in France. That said, the property was being renovated when we arrived, an information that should have been disclosed as half of the facade was covered in scaffolding, very far from the pictures advertised by booking.con and the property's own website. The ongoing re-tiling of the roof promptly started every 8:30 am directly under our room. We wanted to rest some more on Thursday morning but it was useless with all the banging going on. They should have booked us in another room on another part of the hotel. There was on-site parking. The staff were very helpful. Maria (she at the front desk when we arrived Tuesday, 31 March) was particularly diligent at her work and was very kind. She was the highlight of our stay. Breakfast at the property was excellent.

The staff were absolutely delightful and very helpul. The restaurant was faultless - good honest traditional French food all served with great humour and friendliness. We stayed there for 3 nights and the breakfasts really made the day - everything you could ever wish for.

“It was my last night in France after travelling 3 weeks in France, such a nice way to end my trip.”
Because I did not travel with a car it was expensive to get there, but it was worth. The breakfast was absolute fantastic!! The lady that checked me in carry my case to the second floor for me with a big smile. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I wish i could stay longer.
