“Home from home”

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt right at home at Nohasi Palace Hotel & Spa. We felt a sense of loss when it came for our time to leave! The staff are all extremely warm, from the maintenance staff to the proprietors, most with impeccable English (all staff spoke better English than we spoke Italian!) and nothing is ever too much trouble - I even had a massage on my terrace because being Irish, I struggle with hot temperatures! The two pet cats are equally welcoming and also deserve a mention! Serena, one of the husband-and-wife duo proprietors, never appears to leave the premises, she’s so dedicated to it. She is also personally responsible for any weight gain we have experienced over the past week! The food is amazing and just what you would expect from Italy and more, with the 5-star touches. Being allergic to fish and seafood, my husband and I particularly liked the variety of the Pizza Menu but we also found delicious dishes on the two occasions we ordered from the main À La Carte Menu in the restaurant. Continental and cooked options are available for breakfast and locally-produced pastries. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated with soft, luxury furnishings and the very best of technology, fittings and appliances throughout. Even the swimming pool has underwater piano music playing, which I’ve only ever witnessed once before. The music playlist being gently pumped throughout the hotel was a hit too. The private use of the spa is a nice feature and it adds that something special to the experience, which is probably the best way to describe the hotel: luxurious with the little extras that don’t go unnoticed. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property with incredible attention to detail

The exceptional, friendly and outstanding service from everybody at the hotel. The big room full of vintage objects, the excellent food at both the restaurant and the pizza place. The nearby free parking. My wife loved her hair styling. The weird small festival with the marching band that happens to occur during our stay.

Everything and everyone…..we had the BEST time over the 5mights and the room was amazing !!! Huge , clean and luxury in one . The pool and the food as amazing as were the staff who were extremely professional

“Wonderful hotel with very helpful staff.”

The quirkiness of the hotel grew on me and the staff were all so friendly. Love Mimi the cat coming to see you around the pool too. The hotel put together for us a wine tour of three vineyards with lunch at one and a driver. Well organised and it went perfectly.

“Amazing palace!”

The grounds are beautiful and made even better by the staff. We also took up the additional experiences of pasta making and the spa, both of which were fantastic. Didn't want to leave.

Family run hotel. Very accommodating. Large room. Had breakfast in our balcony every day. Lovely pool area. Missed having a gym but otherwise a lovely stay. .

“Fabulous hotel”

Relaxed chic, elegant and full of charm. The staff balance their superb attention making you feel like you’re their best guest ever! The hotel itself is small enough to make you feel it’s almost a bespoke holiday designed for you - even when every room was full we never sensed it. (You won’t need to chase for the best positioned sun lounger round the beautiful pool set in the most delightful gardens as there are enough for everyone ) The hotel is an extremely old palace beautifully converted - it’s located in a quiet village but perfect to go off exploring nearby walled towns. Nardò was my favourite. Breakfast in the courtyard (I can recommend the omelette with sweet red onions and ham). Lovely dinners in the garden around the beautiful gardens. Serena and her team all work tirelessly and it shows - and those who are animal lovers will get to meet Mimi, a cat that stole my heart. Thank you for a beautifully relaxed 5 nights - it was just perfect.

“Luxury retreat in the middle of Noha”

Everything, like many people said before: so much attention to detail. From the wonderful Spa with a special bath till the cooked breakfasts with excellent fruit, from the super nice staff till the bath outside our room on a terrace, this place is special. We just didn’t want to leave…

Hidden gem in nowhere with supportive staff, exclusive meal, fantastic accommodation: marvelous room, fantastic surronding with historic details which have value. Staff helps you in any request. Swimming pool and the garden were beautiful, well kept. Restaurant snd bar like Michelin with decent prices.

Absolutely stunning venue in a remote part of Italy where you can escape but there is a town a little drive away.

Pool was wonderful, breakfast was very good, all staff very kind and helpful, buildings/facilities meticulously renovated and very well maintained, many different spaces to explore and use as a guest, well integrated into local community with many external guests coming in for dinner or festivities, easy parking in front of building, good location to explore southern part of Salento
