Really nice and special overnight stay. Host presents and explains everything in person, this was lovely - even I was tired. 10 of 10, if the bathroom get’s build. I really loved the outdoor shower. Perfect way to say goodbye to Iceland.

It was wonderful sleeping in an art gallery surrounded by amazing paintings and fascinating stories! The host was very welcoming: we talked a lot, and he shared many great stories with us. He also kindly let us use the kitchen to cook :) Oh, and the Viking Shower is an absolute must!

Ragnar was passionate and a great story teller. You can tell how proud he is of his uncle and the amazing paintings he’s done. The bed was super comfortable and the outdoor shower, using the same water as the blue lagoon, was a fun and unique experience. There is an indoor shower and toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, which Ragnar is happy for guests to use. The room has a fridge and a sink with enough household items to get you by.

The room is very large, clean, and decorated with numerous paintings: it feels like being in a museum. The room also has heating, a refrigerator with some food, and a sink. The bathroom is shared in an apartment next door. Ragnar is very welcoming and available, even for a ride to the airport.

The location itself was very practical. Easy to reach from the airport. The room had paintings literally from floor to ceiling. Our host was wonderful and told us lots of stories.

Great hotel for the airport. Such a quirky and interesting place - your bed is actually in the art gallery! The hot tub was an added bonus. The host shared the history of how the gallery came to be...

“Quirky and convenient!”

Extremely convenient for an early flight out of Keflavik Airport. Bathroom is in the main house (while the main stay is in the mentioned art gallery (which has plenty of nice art!)) so it has kind of an AirBnB feel in a private house which was no problem at all. The gallery itself has a very comfortable mattress, sink, kettle and fridge, so it's easily possible to make a coffee or tea. The drive to Keflavik airport only takes 15 minutes and the price is unbeatable compared to hotels in the area.

The host was extremely helpful and kind! The place is beautiful.
