Easy access to Icarai facilities . Canja soup in restaurant was very tasty! Room facilities were good for comfortable stay.

“Great stay!”
Great place to stay and in my opinion it made Niteroi seem like a better option than Rio to stay. Rio was super accessible but we were in a safe , secure, lovely hotel

The breakfast, the friendliness and the helpfulness of the staff. There is a coffee machine that can also be used to heat water for making tea. There is an overall sense of comfort and the room is good (been great in the past). They can help you if you need to hire a cab (taxi). They are accommodating if you need extra days and they have availability.

After trying several hotels in Rio de Janeiro, we can confidently say that Hotel Matiz has become our favorite. What truly made our experience special was the people who work there. From the restaurant staff to housekeeping and reception, everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Every detail is thoughtfully taken care of to ensure an exceptional stay. We loved using the free bicycles to explore the city, the well-equipped gym, and of course, the delicious and varied breakfast. The location is simply perfect, making it easy to visit the main attractions. We highly recommend Hotel Matiz and look forward to returning soon. Thank you for making our stay in Rio unforgettable!

Breakfast was adequate with three hot options kept head on a hot plate. No ability to custom order anything. (It is a buffet.)
