Quaint. Quiet. Such a lovely family who had the utmost politeness and attentive nature. The homemade food from the farm was amazing. Simple and delicious. A simple farm escape for those without a pretentious nature.

“Lovely Rustic Retreat”
It took a while to find the place, it's very remote (which is what we wanted) and had some helpful photo directions sent in advance, to follow landmarks - this was OK, though it did require a lot of stopping, reversing and turning round! Would be helpful to have distances indicated in between landmarks. The hut itself and location is gorgeous, and it's a working farm environment so expect lots of cats (we loved the ginger kitten) and dogs, farm activity in the background, which was great as we enjoyed seeing rural life! The hut is basic, lovely swing and fairy lights outside, a great view...few things would have made a huge difference - the table and chairs outside aren't the same as in pics and are quite scruffy. There aren't curtains and so I had to hang a blanket at the window, the bedroom doesn't have a table light so getting up in the night to go to the loo was a bit tricky as it's pitch black! Some wine glasses would be good and a kettle. Having said all that, it's such great value, I think you have to see it as a sort of lovely glamping experience! Would def go again.

This is really an insider tip for people that want to experience a little adventure. It's a wonderful location, the view is absolutely fantastic. The host is very friendly and helpful, he even picked me up from down the hill when I couldn't find the location and served me a fresh organic juice as a welcome. The homemade breakfast in the morning was delicious and I enjoyed in together with the cat and the sun on the outside terrace. Thanks a lot for the experience.

“Super relaxing and comfortable”
The owner spoke very well English. The view from tje cottage is amazing and food was delicious and all from the farm.
