“Lovely host”

Good location for a stay in Nikko. The host is absolutely lovely, she helped plan my activities while I was in Nikko, and provided lots of local info. She also made an amazing (massive) breakfast free of charge

One of my favourite stays in Japan. So generous, welcoming, helpful and kind. Fantastic breakfast . I 100% recommend staying here if in Nikko.

Great services and delicious breakfast.

The host were very friendly and helped me plan which tourist attractions to visit and how to get around. Also, the host also prepared a very nutritious and delicious breakfast for me. In addition, my shoes got wet from the snow, and she helped me dry them using the heater.

The host is very friendly and lovely. She explained everything around the house and even made us complimentary breakfast.

Just a few minutes walk from the station is this lovely and cosy place. Mariko the hostess was lovely, it showed that it was super important for her that we'll enjoy our stay in nikko. She gave us great recommendations to enjoy the area and was very sweet in general.

The host went above and beyond to make our short time in Nikko perfect! The location of the property is great too - would strongly recommend a stay here :)

“The most welcoming and attentive host”

It’s a nice house, 7-minute walking from the train station. What makes it a fantastic stay is the hosting family. Mariko treated us as friends/family, even when we showed up soaked by the typhoon rain. I won’t forget her kindness.

Our vacation in Japan was filled with nice people but the owner of this house was the nicest and friendliest in the whole country. We really felt so welcome and everything was made available to us to make our stay wonderful. We have great memories of being in Nikko but staying in this home was the best decision we made and we hope you stay here too.

This was a lovely place, they were waiting for us with a map and a lot of information of the city, the room was big, a lot of space to save stuff. The breakfast were incredible and free! i really loved it , and even when we returned in the night they have some fruits and miso for us they were really kind and a lovely persons, I felt like home.

It is very, very nice! "Feels like home" type of vibe! The location is right next to the station, so it is easy to travel around Nikko. There is a combini right next to the property in case you need anything. The house keeper is EXTREMELY friendly and will help give you reccomendations and even help you make a plan. I wish I could have stayed longer! It was truly a special experience.

The rooms are in the host’s house. The host was very welcoming and attentive. We were given a delicious breakfast each morning.

I like the vibe, the hostess and host treat us friendly, even though they only can speak few English, they provide us with a lot of suggestions about Nikko and take care of what we need all the time like family.

Everything was awesome!! The host was just soooooo kind!!! As much as her english was limited, she was always making efforts to make the message understandable. She recommended me many spots to check out, explained the surroundings clearly, spent time making sure I was comfortable with my room, which was super authentic. I would recommend anytime!!!

Mariko San was exceptionally helpful and very kind. We stayed for two nights, and although it was not included, she prepared a very generous breakfast for us . both days. She gave us a ride to the train station (twice), and made tea for us when we were sitting in the kitchen in the evenings. Upon our arrival, she gave us very good information about the area and the buses.
