“Truly amazing”
This house was a dream. We really enjoyed our stay here; we were very sad when we had to leave! We felt like in a movie, it was truly amazing having the opportunity to stay in a traditional Japanese house. Some parts of the house could be in better shape, but it didn't affect our experience much. We do not recommend this house if you don't have a car. We had a bit of difficulty when first arriving at the house with our GPS, but we could finally make it work when we searched for a place near the house instead of for the house address itself. Very recommendable place, thank you truly for this amazing experience!

I enjoyed the traditional-style Japanese house, which is an experience most people should try. The location was great, as it was an easy walk to the train station for a brief train ride to Nikko Station.

“A great way to experience a Japanese style home, within driving distance of Nikko.”
The house was beautiful and the host was kind and communicative before we even arrived. All amenities were provided for. The location was close enough to Nikko to make it a quick and easy drive. It’s very traditional so guests can experience a true Japanese home for a very good price.

“Be careful before you stay here”
Very big, traditional Japanese house. There is a nice, big bath. The site is close to a lot of nature, so many cool bugs to see around the property (many of which will get inside, so be careful to close all doors and windows, especially at night)

“Beautiful Traditional Home, Needs Better Cleaning.”
Beautiful Traditional Japanese House in a quiet peaceful area. Nice garden with some bird life and a cherry tree blossoming. 12 mins walk to the station and then 2 stops to Nikko. 10 mins walk from 7/11 and ‘Can Do’ store. There’s also a big tv connected to the internet which was great!

“A comfortable and great stay in a traditional japanese house”
the house was fully equipped, especially the kitchen. towels and some toiletry were provided. the beds were extremely comfortable. we were a group of 8 people and everything was provided for each one of us. A great experience staying in a traditional japanese home
