Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The location is exceptional — quiet and peaceful, yet perfectly placed for everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, varied, and a great way to start the day — and the private bathroom made everything feel that bit more like home. We also appreciated the private parking behind a gate, which gave us real peace of mind. The bed deserves a special mention — it was an absolute miracle to sleep in! On top of all that, our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Highly recommended!

Comfortable bed

The location was excellent as it was only a couple of kms from the route that we were on. The breakfast was also excellent and it was clearly very fresh, plentiful and tasty. The owner was extremely accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. This was a perfect stay for us.

The hosts of the accommodation were very friendly. We had a very nice and clean room on the top floor with a cute balcony. The next morning we had a great breakfast with handmade jam. A dream.

Another warm welcome on our 4th stay here. Sylviane and her husband are wonderful hosts, ensuring you have everything you need without being intrusive. The location is ideal; just minutes from the main road down to the Swiss border, but so quiet and tranquil. Secure private parking. The room and bathroom are good and the breakfast is ample with good quality local products.

Warm welcome, yet professional attitude. Particularly appreciated kindness on a day when my wife was unwell. Copious and quality continental breakfast. Quiet location, excellent for visiting Colmar and the Alsace vineyard area. Good advice for restaurants and local tourism.

“A Very Comfortable Stay”

We were on our way home from Italy and needed an overnight stop. Chez Sylviane was perfect for this being about 10 minutes from the motorway. It was easy to find, our host was extremely welcoming and we slept in a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good and we didn’t have to eat anything else until we reached Calais.

“First time in a Chambre d'hote”

First time in a Chambre d'hote and if this is what they're like then we'll definitely do it again. Sylviane was the perfect host, welcoming us into her home and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Quiet location which was perfect for us after a long days travel. Breakfast was very nice with some of Sylvianes homemade jams.

Friendly hosts and an ideal location for us; easy to find and very close to the main road down to Switzerland. Parking available and a quiet village so a good nights sleep. The breakfast was fantastic; local produce and homemade jams, with wonderfully fresh bread. We'll definitely stay again.
