The location is absolutely stunning, feels like you are in a middle of the forest. The staff was super helpful and it gave more a feeling of being a guest (home made cakes, nice breakfast) than being in a hotel.

“Altogether I was satisfied. It seems nice place for a longer, quiet getaway.”
The place is located in a somewhat remote part of the village (such that despite navigation I even had some doubts whether I'm driving correctly when arriving during the night). The grounds are spacious and rooms are located in different buildings. So we had to walk some minutes to main building for breakfast. That was fine in sunny weather but could be problem during rain or in winter. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast options were modest but by no means inadequate just not the amount of variety you would see in a larger hotel.

“Great value, friendly host, lovely building and surroundings”
It was a lovely hotel and the host was very friendly..She did not speak English but that wasn't a problem. The food was home-made and lovely. Refreshments were available all day. The host also could provide daily meals in addition to breakfast. The setting was very relaxing and pretty

I couldn't have dreamt of a more quiet hotel with such great hospitality and in such beautyfull surroundings of forests and in a region with a lot of historical themes to explore. I will certainly come again for some more days.

Location and the staff were amazing. It was really quiet and close to nature, but at the same time not far from the city center.
