The hotel was beautiful and located in a peaceful area on a hillside. We walked to the city center and to the old town which took about 20-30 minutes but the area was nice and we felt very safe to walk there. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - especially Philippe at the front desk, who seemed to know every guest by name. Our room was quiet and modern and the balcony was nice.

Beautiful small hotel, personal touch with wonderful staff, I received an upgrade to a larger room which was still small, but had everything you need, everything works, small issue with making up the room was handled professionally. All in all highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived at the airport, to be greeted by our friendly pre-arranged private taxi driver, to the warm greeting at reception on arrival at our hotel to the return journey home we were met by professional and welcoming people. Everyone we encountered were very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast options were varied, freshly prepared and tasty. Special mention goes to Kevin and Philippe who couldn't have been more welcoming, and knowledgeable in making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We booked a room with a sea view which we would highly recommend. The view from the room was spectacular, looking down on the city below towards the sea. Nice is a wonderful city with much to offer

The breakfast lady maitre d' was over assertive. Had a loud hard voice which sounded rude. she asked me for my room number but sounded harsh as if i shouldn't be there. Was brusque with me when the coffee tablet machine didn't work. It wasn't my fault, it was the machine being slightly faulty which was solved quickly. I'd offer her some empathy training. She's ok and smiley if she likes you. However, breakfast was lovely. everything fresh, the selection v. good. boiled eggs excellent. scambled eggs option v. good too. Receptionist, she was delightful and welcoming, showed me to my room and suggest some nice places to eat in town where i visited. The night manager, he was very helpful and welcoming too. I liked their politeness, enthusiasm and energy. The hotel is such a delight. Beautifully decorated, and really well maintained. Five star rating to the back of house staff. Even the grouting in the shower area is clean and spotless. No paint chips in sight. Carpet immaculate. Nice. really nice.

Gem of a small hotel in a very select neighbourhood. Beautifully decorated throughout. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely room, comfy bed and well equipped bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Great buffet breakfast. Pretty gardens with seating and a small plungepool. About 20 mins walk to the old town. Hilly area!
