Everything was perfect. Locations, facilities. Beds are super comfy and showers are strong. 10/10!!

“Needs to be prepared for guests arrivals and address repairs”

The property was clearly not prepared for guests. Last review was December and going by the condition of the property outside there had been no one there since. The leaves at the back door was ankle deep and we had to brush our way to the patio The patio table was not clean nor the seats and the cushions were damp and mouldy not to mention stained and lacked padding unable for use. The BBQ was not cleaned by previous guest or owner and therefore not useable. Therefore we were not able to use the patio at all. - very disappointing as weather was lovely and lounge is dark due to basement. The house was cold and had not had any heating on. We couldn't get the heating to work and emailed asking for info but got no rely. We tried phoning the number on the info sheet but couldn't get through although the right codes were being used. The fire extinguisher was out date and we couldn't see a CO detector near the gas cooker. Some of the places and cups /dishes were chipped. The inside of the cupboards were dirty and some dirty and broken glasses/dishes also The inside of the fridge door was broken and rusty which is clear to see and would not be hygienic. The lounge fire didn't work at all even following the info sheet. Clearly gas not connected We were asked to leave the house in the same condition as we found it, but the bed moved in the back bedroom and the dust showing was thick so even though we are charged for cleaning it was not thoroughly carried out. Kitchen/bedrooms There was no mirrors in the bedrooms and lack of clothes hangers in robes. There is a broken stair rod on the stairs that would need attention There was a notice about the broken tap in the downstairs bathroom which was mentioned by the previous guest but had not been repaired.

“Lovely cottage in terrific location”

The cottage is roomy and in such a lovely location. It backs onto a wooded reserve and is metres from the shore of Lake Ontario. It’s in a lovely part of Niagara on the Lake. So many beautiful homes nearby plus parks and a golf course. We swam daily at the beach which is around 100m from the front door. Inside the house is fully equipped. A full and very well stocked kitchen with all the utensils plus a great selection of coffees. We also appreciated the washing machine and the effective air conditioning as it was warm during our visit. The beds were comfortable and our daughter’s loved having their own bedrooms :))

“Quiet and relaxing place to spend some time if visiting Niagara on the Lake.”

The Cottage was lovely, with lots of room to move about and everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. Great water pressure in the upstairs shower, (which I used) which is brand new with 3 shower heads and more than enough towels for everyone. We were a party of 6, and the house was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans. The location was amazing and the neighbourhood friendly and safe. Although we cooked for ourselves most of the weekend, there were several restaurants and pubs close by. We had lunch at "The Sand Trap" which was within walking distance and the prices were reasonable and it offered plenty of choice. We had some rain and drove both to the restaurant for lunch and into town for groceries - both were less than a 5 minute drive, although the neighbourhood and scenery was so beautiful you wanted to drive slower to have a good look around.

the location is just amazing! the property is maintained in a very good state, has everything that’s needed. very cozy and even has extra treats for furry friends)

Westwood cottage was a lovely place to stay. It suited our needs because we were doing winery visits and there is many on that side of NOTL. It isn't walking distance to the main part of town if that is important but it is very close. It had everything we needed and lots of space to be comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

“Perfectly wonderful.”

We really enjoyed the cottage and the location. We met so many nice people and a short walk to the lake revealed a spectacular sunset. We would definitely rent again and recommend to others.

Clean, comfortable dog friendly home with extra touch of dog treats. Location was beautiful for walks and close to amenities.

“Comfortable and peaceful stay”

Location was great, with proximity to a park and Lake Ontario. Beautiful backyard. Great for enjoying a nice meal outside. BBQ available was a plus. The house was clean, great layout and washrooms were beautiful.
