You couldn't ask for a better location in Niagara-on-the-Lake than the School House B&B. The whole town is at your fingertips, just a single street away. The School House itself has been modernized while still maintaining the old charm and grandeur. It has everything you need, including pleasant little extras. The breakfast was superb, well beyond expectations. This is an experience not to be missed!

It was a lovely quaint house with elements of the old school remaining. Well decorated and with cookies and chocolates that guests could enjoy. It had a lovely seating area in the garden. The breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty. The hosts, Carrie and Pete were friendly and helpful.

Everything. We had a great stay. The location was perfect, easy to walk into town, visit Niagara Falls, wineries etc. Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice shower and toiletries. Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. We were also able to use the dining room of an evening to enjoy our own nibbles and wine. Our hosts Carrie and Pete were delightful.

Beautiful place to stay and so close for walking the main street

School House exceeded all expectations from start to finish — check-in was seamless, and the spacious suite delivered on every front with classic design, a great bathroom, a comfortable king-sized bed, and a cozy fireplace that was perfect for the chilly weather. The location couldn't be better, just a one-minute walk to Queen Street shops, but what truly made the stay magical was owner Carrie, an incredibly warm and welcoming host who pours genuine love and thought into every detail. That spirit extended to the Continental Breakfast, which we almost skipped in favour of dining on Queen Street — thankfully Carrie convinced us to stay, and it was a real treat: beautifully presented in a tower with a yogurt parfait, croissant, fresh fruits, breakfast cake, and an egg and bacon bowl. We're already planning our return trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake in the fall and will absolutely be booking with Carrie and School House again.

Carrie was a gracious host. We stayed in the Principal loft which was a gorgeous and very cozy room. It's a perfect Oasis for a romantic weekend getaway. The morning breakfast was wonderful and thoughtful and ours included Coffee/Tea, Apple/Orange Juice, a baked egg with turkey and sweet potato, a banana loaf, a flaky croissant, a fruit cup, and a yogurt parfait. I will definitely be staying at this beautiful B&B again.

A perfect B&B for enjoying Niagara-on-the-Lake. Carrie was fantastic - so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was great and set us up well for the day. Free cookies available at the entrance was a perk! Having a sofa and kettle in the room was great. Our stay was very comfortable and Carrie was a perfect host. We visited the falls and had some great local wines.
