Overview
Surrounded by African bush and overlooking the Usutu River and the mountains, Nkonyeni Lodge & Golf Estate in Ngwempisi offers a game reserve and an 18-hole championship course. The resort features a range of different accommodation types ranging from rustic chalets and elegant double rooms to a villa with private pool. The accommodation is spread over the entire estate. The Chalets with mountain views are located on the game reserve and transport is provided. The restaurant at the clubhouse serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on an a la carte basis and for a surcharge. Packed lunches can be arranged. Besides the premium golf course that runs through the estate, Nkonyeni also offers a tennis court and a fitness centre. Other facilities include a shared lounge and a children's playground. The resort has meeting and conference facilities or up to 50 delegates. For relaxation, guests can unwind at the pool or book a massage or a beauty treatment at the spa. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling, hiking, quad biking and fishing. Game drives on the 400 hectare reserve can be arranged. The resort is 24 km from Manzini and 56 km from Mbabane.

Perfect location for a one night stay over. Good restaurant for breakfast and dinner with an excellent service. Unfortunately no time to play 18 holes but first impression of the golfcourse looked attractive and well maintained.

“Beautiful as always.”
I have lost count on the times I have been here, always a beautiful place to be. The lodge this time around though, was a bit unfriendly because of the noisy neighbours. I always appreciate privacy that side, although not my best spot when I want to work. Nonetheless, a beautiful place as always.
