The hotel is in the English style and the rooms are also very nicely furnished in proper style. Everyone was very friendly and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. As there were only 5 guest rooms, the service was very personal and the breakfast together with the other guests was very enjoyable.We will definitely be back. Eva and Alexander

The best B&B in Newport, RI! Outstanding service, top level finish rooms and refurbished bathrooms. Incredible breakfast and even a wine & cheese in the evening offered to all guests for free. Exceptional location and a private parking.

“Wonderful place to stay, relax and enjoy!”
Super comfortable room with everything we could need. Delicious breakfast, varied tasty dishes each day. Home baked cookies available in the afternoons. Cheese and wine at 5.00 which made for a lovely way to meet other guests. Shelby made us feel completely 'at home' throughout with thoughtful touches to make our stay very relaxing. and looked after us exceptionally well. Excellent location to enjoy Newport.

This was an amazing B&B experience. Many thanks to Laurence and John who have been excellent hosts. They were very friendly and gave us many good advices to make the most of our two days in Newport. The room was great and very comfortable. It was also very practical as it was divided in two parts, one with a bed and one with a sofa bed, which was really great to have intimacy for everyone (3 people total). The breakfast was delicious and the wine and cheese moment very appreciated as it was the opportunity to discuss with them and with other guests.

John and Laurence are fantastic hosts, they couldn’t be more accommodating and lovely. Their local knowledge is excellent and very useful too The breakfast was absolutely delicious, Laurence is a fantastic cook. Homemade pastries out of this world The location is fantastic and very easily walkable into town for restaurants etc

This was the prettiest, coziest, more comfortable place to stay ever. The Innkeepers where so attentive and welcoming, the breakfast was superb and every little thing in this house seemed like they really care for detail… If you’re looking for a safe and homelike place to stay in Newport this is it, stop looking.

Our stay at the Inn was truly exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Newport. First and foremost, the location of the Almondy Inn is absolutely fantastic. It is within walking distance of all the major attractions and sights in Newport, making it incredibly convenient for visitors. Whether you want to explore the historic mansions, stroll along the waterfront, or shop and dine in the downtown area, everything is just a short walk away. The innkeepers at the Almondy Inn are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that their guests are comfortable and well taken care of. They truly know what they are doing and are always happy to provide recommendations and advice on the best things to see and do in Newport. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with high-end furnishings and amenities that make for a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay. The attention to detail is apparent in every aspect of the Inn, from the comfortable bedding to the sparkling clean bathrooms.
