It is in a beautiful setting and very neat with comfortable bed. Host very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the lush garden with pool. We highly recommend this place.

The hosts were very accommodating , made us so welcome. They even ordered a pizza for us on the Friday night and collected it from the local boulangerie. There English was great , better than our French ! Breakfast was excellent with home made produce.

This accommodation is a true gem! The house is beautifully designed and furnished, and Christelle & Sebastian are the warmest hosts you could ever imagine. We were treated to a wonderful breakfast with a variety of local products, and when we left, they waved us goodbye from the window! The house has very beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and a dreamy garden where you can spend time. The area is stunning and offers plenty of great things to discover and do. I can highly recommend this accommodation!

“Pretty and peaceful”

The welcome and hosting was second to none. Such wonderful people! The location is stunning and the garden took my breath away, I wanted to live there! Breakfast was really fantastic, full of quality, local produce (my son particularly liked the home made waffles and said they were the best he ever had). There were so many cute little details like the Goldilocks style mugs and spoons in our room and the plates at breakfast. I must mention the garden again. I am listening to the stream bubble by as my son enjoys the slack line and I write this review. Very reluctant to leave!

Our genial hosts, Christelle and Sebastian, couldn't have been more helpful – recommending restaurants and even booking us a table. They were warm and open, and we felt right at home, like we'd known each other for years. They run a beautiful guesthouse in an idyllic setting and provide a delicious breakfast.

What a beautiful location and a lovely home. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome. The garden was beautiful, the room was spotless, the breakfast was full of lovely local produce and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake. Christelle was very patient with my basic French and helped us to find some dinner (and teach me some new French words). Some lovely little touches like Christelle setting up the children’s toys on the bed which they loved. Thank you so much. We would love to stay again for longer.

We had a lovely welcome from Chantelle. The rooms were very nicely appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight with so many lovely local delicacies and artisan breads with homemade jams. It was lovely to enjoy it in the garden surrounded by the vineyards!

“An gem of a place off the beaten track”

A beautiful location in a very small village surrounded by vineyards below the historic village of Chateau Chalon perched on rocky crag. Christelle and Sébastien were welcoming, friendly and full of information about the local area. The house is tastefully furnished - our room and bathroom were spacious, well-equipped and the bed was extremely comfy! Breakfast proudly represented the best of the local produce including warm sourdough bread, made by hand in the local boulangerie, Sebastien's homemade jams and yogurts made by students at the local agricultural college. Although the village is tiny, there is an excellent restaurant less than 100 metres - Chez Janine - where we ate incredible poulet de Bresse with morelles and tartare made from local beef. Lots of options for vegetarians including the famous fondu and baked cheeses. This is the first time I have visited the Jura and I was bowled over by the spectacular landscape and the quality of the food. I can't wait to come back!

Lovely hosts. Bathroom was exceptional with dual basins, mirrors and taps. Lovely french breakfast. Very easy parking. 4 min walk to local restaurant. Bedroom expansive. Perhaps needed some luggage cross leg luggage stands.

Super friendly and personal welcome. To help us out the Christelle suggested to cook for us although they usually don’t offer dinner (we didn’t have a car). Breakfast was delicious with local produce served with love/care. The location is perfect, beautiful garden and quiet.

We loved our stay here. The room was modern, well furnished with a good bathroom. We especially loved the breakfast with fresh local foods, with bread from the local baker as a highlight. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The garden was lovely, well kept and plenty of spots to sit down and relax. Overall: Highly recommend.

This home (not a house) is literally a PIECE OF HEAVEN. Beautiful location, designed in a magnificent way and run by two lovely people. Even if just for one night and unfortunately on a business trip, this place has been for me a complete break from business and it threw me in a true moment of relax surrounded by an amazing landscape. It will always be the place I want to go any chance I’ll have.

Booked as a one night stopover and regretted that we didn’t stay longer. The house was superb and the owners delightful. The locality is also outstanding. We enjoyed a great walk up to Chateau Chalon

We were made to feel very welcome the hosts were very amenable, also booking a table for dinner at the Grand Jardin in the next village Our room was beautiful ,breakfasts were good with plenty of choice. The hosts have done a very good restoration on the building, without spoiling it. We will return.
