“The perfect rural retreat”

The gite itself was absolutely beautiful. It had the most charming secluded garden. The village was quaint and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. Lots of amazing walks along country roads and in tranquil woodlands. A perfect rural retreat. The hosts provided a wonderful welcome pack of local produce, including some delicious home-made jam!

This is a rural guest house within the owners property plot. It is normally calm, well renovated and there is enough space for the children to play and be outside in a safe and pleasant environment. The owners live in the property full time, wall to wall and are very helpful and supportive, both for tourist recommendations and to provide anything missing. They know the area, the history, the good places to visit and eat and all transportation possibilities. you will be welcomed with nice treats like the beer of vexin,,foie gras (the locals have very good products, it's worth trying). The beds are very comfortable, you have full household equipment (pressure cooker, pan, kitchen robot, washing machine, iron....) and multimedia as well as a decent wifi. Despite we did not use it, there is heating and all the other amenities worked very well (lights, water, appliances, cooking tools). They have made available a griddle to quickly cook outside and a proper space to eat in the garden. The village is about 250 inhabitants so very calm and pleasant, with a playground, walking paths and many fields. The liaison to Paris is acceptable, combining car+train+metro. count about one hour and a half to reach the city center. This is the perfect location to be outside the big cities.
