Nice and clean room. Hostile and friendly owner - I enjoyed my stay. All was good and positive, nothing to worry or complain about.

“Truly awful and I felt unsafe.”

Unfortunately, after three months of travelling Europe we have had our worst stay and experience. There were numerous things that occurred during our stay. - The accomodation isn’t as described or clear on the Booking.com website. The accomodation isn’t a bed and breakfast nor “official” accomodation, you will be staying in the same house of the host. This is not indicated anywhere on the website. - We paid 100 euro per night for two people, to sleep in a room which was a king single bed (not even a double) that was uncomfortable. We also shared a bathroom with friends. 100 euro a night for a bed not even made for two people and a shared bathroom felt like a rip off. We communicated with the host that this would be two people and the room we were given was not displayed on the website. The accomodation is also 50-60 minutes out of Munich- I would consider the price more reasonable if it was closer to the city. - Our friend created our booking for us and as they originally booked for two people, we asked for an additional two so that we could join them. They offered the additional room that I stayed in for cash payment and for our friend to bring this when she arrives. - Our friend arrived to check in late, due to various delays that occur when one travels. Due to the delays, she was not able to bring her cash and told the host’s daughter, who checked her in that she would bring it when she returns. - While my friend was checking in, myself and my partner were out in Munich city. The host began to then message me, and sent aggressive and unprofessional messages reporting that my friend was late for check in, resulting in her having to miss work. While I understand this is frustrating for the host, I was not responsible for my friend being late and not being able to present the cash payment straight away. The host swore at me and threatened me for this.

“Awful, uncomfortable and scared.”

Unfortunately, our stay was a disaster. The host was extremely rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. We originally booked the family room and was under 2 people. I messaged the host to ask if I could increase the number of people to 4 guests. She asked for an additional 180 euro in cash at check in and would give us another room. Our understanding was that it would be a private bathroom and an additional bedroom. However, this was not the case. They put us in a kids room with trophies and additional clutter. And we had to share a bathroom. This clearly isn’t what is advertised. It is not a hotel or a guest house. It is simply a family home with some rooms at the top. It was way too expensive for what it is. We didn’t give the 180 euro cash straight away as the host wasn’t there so said we would give it later that night as we wanted to explore Munich. This resulted in extremely rude messages from the host. She threatened to throw out our luggage and swore at us. We will add additional screen shots of the messages to formally complain to booking.com. Never have I ever felt so scared to stay somewhere. I would have easily left but it was Oktoberfest weekend and everywhere was very expensive or not available. The room is not worth 400 euro for 2 nights. I would not recommend this accommodation for anyone and especially as a female, it is not safe. I hope I can get a refund or some money back because it was the worst stay I have ever encountered in my life!

“Basement with bathroom upstairs which does not match the description”

House in a very quiet village, excellent cleaning and adequate number of towels and shower products. Reserved parking space. The basement with 3 single beds and kitchenette is quite ok for sleeping (for us was enough) but I wouldn't recommend it for spending the whole day

It was in a quiet area. The room was clean.

The place was very clean the beds was comfortable and has everything what you need inside the room .The host Maria was very friendly and make us feel very welcome . The place was a pet friendly and she even ask if we need anything for our dog, The location was good and very pleasant.

Our host was very kind and helpful. A kitchenette was in our room, so we could comfortably have our breakfast before leaving. The room and the bathroom was clean. Our room in the basemnet was pretty cool after the hot summer day.
