“Enjoyable stay, overall a quite a good experience”

The small spa area was sweet, but I wouldn't call it a spa - it's a large hot tub with a small sauna, but still in a nice location and feels very remote which I loved. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the dinner we had in the evening was lovely. The rooms were a good size and the bathrooms had good storage for wash bags etc, and I loved that you could just grab a robe from your room and go straight to the spa without any complications.

Room was beautiful, we were upgraded and much appreciated. Dinner lovely and lucky to see and take photos of the northern lights from the bar, outside reception and from outside the back of our room.

Well designed rooms. Great to have the patio room to enjoy the northern lights each night. Enjoyable dinner. Breakfast is not included in the room rate but available at the hotel as an extra charge. Geothermal hot pool & sauna room were enjoyable to relax in. Communal lounge space above was nice. Lovely small walks outside the hotel. Great base to explore all the golden circle sites. We enjoyed the new Laugarás geothermal spa & pools.

Such a great hotel. We were here for the 2nd time. Sure not the last One of the best hotels we have ever visited. Every detail has been through through. Very remote, very stylish, very comfortable. Must have to visit

So beautiful and comfortable, a real treat once we arrived. Very helpful staff which made us feel welcome after a hard drive. We hit bad snow conditions and would caution drivers to check local apps regularly, the hotel is very remote - which is part of the charm, but you need to be prepared for rapidly changing weather and harsh winter conditions. We were lucky to catch an amazing night of northern lights which was an extraordinary experience out in the middle of nowhere of this hotel!

The location is wonderful set into the hillside. Great views . Very nice contemporary spaces with minimal fuss.

The setting is fabulous, the restaurant food, bar, spa and view was exceptional. The reception staff were super helpful, flexible and accommodating when our plans were disrupted by a storm.
