“Perfect gem!”

Stayed only one night at this gem. The owner is an amazing lady. Very sweet, nice and welcoming. I had made a wrong booking for one less person but she was very understanding and got us an extra towel and sheets. We could pay for the extra person with Vipps or cash. She had amazing stories to tell about the place that had been in her family for almost two centuries. She made waffels for us for breakfast just to be nice. All beds were very comfortable and kitchen is fully equipped. If I ever need a place to stay near Oslo again I will stay here!

The host was a sweetheart and incredibly welcoming. She left us a typical dish and she made the table for us for dinner, as well as leaving the slippers for all of us. The house was clean, comfortable and it felt like being in grandmother house. A truly heartwarming Norwegian experience! We wish we stayed longer!!

“Cosy, family like atmosphere”

This is a true special place where you can fully recharge your batteries! The lady (and her dog) is very welcoming and has fascinating stories to tell. Location is perfect for the nature lovers, close to a fjord and the house is super cosy, spacious and comfortable. We even had fluffy toys on each bed :) Great value for money.

“Quiet and spacious place to stay”

The property is in a very quiet location not too far out of Oslo. We were met by the lovely host on arrival. She made sure we were settled in and told us about the history of the converted barn and property. Lots of space inside, and some outdoor tables as well. Only two of us were travelling so we had more than enough room. Traditional cake (leftse) and coffee was provided one morning. We were able to charge our car onsite. There are some nice trails in the area to walk or run.

We loved the property, the host was very nice, lots of info on history of the place. It felt like home, very relaxing and pleasant stay. Nice walk to the fjord. This is a place where we would take the whole family to spend time.

Very nice place with the spirit. There is everything you needs to rest - quiet, peace. The house has all needed equipment and more. The host is really nice and helpful.
