The location is amazing if you're looking for a stay outside of the city amidst forest with a great view of the Oslofjord.

Learnt that I am the first Chinese stay here-Bingo! A very natural environment living in the forest! If you like the natural and peaceful place, it’s the best choice! Meanwhile, their breakfast is awesome! The owner also has a Italiano restaurant at center Oslo. No chance to visit this time since the tight schedule but will try it definitely when I come to Oslo next time!

I really liked the housing and the view of it. Also how it was in the middle of a forest, isolated from most usual city noises. Jacuzzi was great, and overall the location was very cozy. Owner was super nice and a great guy. I really liked my visit.

Location was perfect to relax and brief good air , also the sauna and pool are very useful.

On this buisness trip I have make a new experience to get an adventure. I have to say it was an atventure which was initiated from my self. Normally I will stay in hotels with 4 or 5 stars. There I had generally a full service and allway a good comfort. This time I would wanted to have the basic class to find a good relaxing and enjoining jorney. What schould I say, it was quite perfect. The room in a wooden barrel or in the log cabin was a very great thing that really impressed me. The total silence during the day and at night was very relaxing. The forest in which the accommodation is located invites you to stroll to the nearby fjord. When the weather is nice, you have the best view of the fjord and enjoy nature. The landlord / owner, named "Dino" is a very nice and carming elderly gentleman and great host, whom you can express your wishes and who tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. He offered me the use of his SPA area, where I was allowed to use the sauna and whirlpool. Breakfast is prepared and served by himself. Nothing was missing here. Only the coordination of when and how should be discussed with Dino. I had put together my own dinner in the small kitchen. A glass of wine / beer with sausage, cheese, eggs, olives and antipasti was the right thing to feel at home in this accommodation. I only turned down an invitation to Dino's pizza restaurant in Oslo for the reason that my stay was only for 2 nights. However, I am very sure that this is also a very nice, great and delicious Lockal in which one would enjoy Dino's cooking skills. The person Dino himself has grown into my heart in this short time and the conversations and I am sure no matter who encounters this man finds a kind of connection to him that is unique. I wish you dear Dino all the best to live your dream in the Norwegian stranger, which has been your home for a long time ago now. I hope we can see and talk to each other again soon. “Silence, nature and classic”

Fantastic location. Very near from Oslo and you have the forests and the sea at the same time.

Dino was great, we really appreciated the personal touch from him and of course the breakfast! Location is quite remote and you need a vehicle to go anywhere. The room was clean and functional and the bed very comfortable. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this place is perfect.

The location is fantastic, Quiet and there are many walking trails through the forests nearby. The owner is a very nice man who provides nice Italian breakfast and fantastic coffees. The sauna and jacuzzi are very nice where you can sit all day and relax. Will go back here if possible as our weekend here was so good.

“Cozy romantic getaway from Oslo”

We had a very nice stay at Dino's B&B in Knardal! The cabin itself was very cozy, and we really enjoyed the stay. Perfect getaway from Oslo if you want a quiet and romantic weekend. The area is very good for birdwatching and hiking as well! Dino is also an amazing host - and made a perfect italian breakfast

“Super cozy and relaxing stay”

Dino's place was amazing and super cozy, he showed us around and gave us a great introduction to the room. The room was small but had everything we needed, including a small kitchen to cook. We were able to use the sauna and jacuzzi and the were both exceptionally clean. The breakfast was also amazing, probably the best tiramisu I've ever had.
