“Beautiful grounds but lacking tranquility”

Big spacious room with a nice balcony with chairs and table where you can dry your bathing suit; huge bed. Very clean. Live music in the evenings. Beautiful gardens with a big pool and plenty of sunbeds, in the sun or shade. Public beach just in front of hotel, and very convenient that complimentary towels can be used both at pool and beach. Staff attentive and friendly. Late checkout available for extra fee. Quiet area - at night you can hear the waves.

Great selection for breakfast and lunch, very friendly staff. Great location, close to Old Town and right on the beach. Lovely view of the sea from the room, we sat on the balcony most evenings to watch the sunset.

Riu Monica is an adult-only hotel, no kids running around which we liked a lot. What one needs to realise is that we, 63&67, were bringing the average age down materially. Food was good, evening entertainment also. Location is perfect. A visit to the caves is highly recommended

Food was exceptionally good & the restaurant had a lovely ambience. Choices of food were large & quality superb. The staff were so kind & helpful we have never stayed anywhere to surpass them. It was my birthday & they bought a lovely bottle of Cava to our room. We wanted to celebrate at the A la carte restaurant but it was closed. Although it was fully booked until after we were due to leave, a table was arranged for us the day after my birthday. We had a wonderful meal with another bottle of Cava & the hotel did not charge. Also car charging was free. Everyone went above & beyond to make our stay perfect.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. Nice pool with sea view, though quite chilly in March. Good size room with comfy bed, good storage, balcony with side sea view. Everywhere very clean. Reception and cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Fresh fruit and salad bar and cheese in restaurant are good. Poolside bar food was good and drinks served to loungers. The main bar is comforatble with good service and ok prices. The entertainment was varied, and generally not too bad.
