Room was of adequate size and clean. Enough towels and a fridge was available. Pool access and free towels were also good

Nice location, pool and facility. Room was clean and bed was comfy. We liked the curtains, they didn't let summer light in for sleeping.

“A good clean hotel, right next to the beach”

It's a nice hotel, well maintained with a main building (reception/restaurant) next to the swimming pool, surrounded by grass and the housing areas. The hotel is close to the sea which was nice for the kids! The room (we had a family room with a living area and 2 bedrooms) was clean and modern. (The fact that they put the beds behind each other, instead of next to each other, was likely due to the lack of space in the room, but it was a bit weird so we rearranged that) The Wifi was OK-ish, it didn't cover well in all areas in the room. The room comes with a private terras so that was nice. The restaurant is good, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast has plenty of options to choose from. All in all a good hotel!

Very Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean apartment. Convenient location to beach. Pool and play area is great for kids. Happy that we could have our dog with us and at restaurant terrace.

Spacious room with two separate bedrooms – perfect for families. The balcony, daily cleaning, and very friendly breakfast staff were all great. Also appreciated the small playground for kids – very handy.

A Wonderful Stay on Bornholm! Our stay at Strandhotel Balka Søbad was absolutely fantastic. The location is a dream – right next to a beautiful sandy beach in a quiet, peaceful area, perfect for relaxing and taking long walks. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable – every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The food was a real highlight – breakfasts were fresh, delicious, and offered a great selection of local products. You could really feel the warm, homely atmosphere with every meal. The biggest highlight, however, was the owners – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They create such a warm and personal vibe that makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautifully located hotel with heart!

“Great place for a family with young kids”

Loved the family room, bed were comfy and great for small kids. Pool was great - heated but still a little cold for our Easter trip. Lovely staff, easy to get around by car. Beaches all around. Was a great trip.
