“Lovely stay”
Lovely place perfect for stay near airport, and walk to beach two mins. Lovely host Claire who helped me organise transport. Mutshi who picked me up from airport was v kind and taught me some Sinhalese phrasese!

“Highly recommended property”
Nice modern property with nice swimming pool which unfortunately didn’t get to use as wasn’t well. Helpful owner who let me check in early for free due to being unwell.

“Fabulous stay, 5 star!”
From the fabulous welcome (with a freshly made welcome drink), to the gorgeous pool surrounded by lush greenery, Super comfortable four poster bed, to the amazing staff who go above and beyond and the cute dogs. This place is a refreshing, restful stay with tasty breakfasts where you feel like you belong. Super clean rooms and bathrooms with spacious shower and the host even came to greet us in person. She even recommended great places for us to eat and visit. What a lovely soul Claire is!

“Perfect stay, perfect host”
The hotel is simply beautiful. Rooms are spacious and very clean, they even have a mini fridge and a western-standard shower. The pool is perfect for hot days. Breakfast is delicious and freshly made. The staff immediately picked up on my preferences and remembered them. Because of the flight cancellations in the Middle East I had to stay an extra week, extending my stay to nearly 10 days. Claire graciously hosted me and other stranded travellers and was very helpful during this time. She’s also happy to give recommendations for what to do in the area/where to eat or help with booking things. I couldn’t have wished for a better place to be “stranded” in. From now on, this place will be the one I return to when I’m in Negombo.

“A lovely place with a warm, personal atmosphere — we would definitely stay again!”
Staying at this small family-run hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is convenient yet peaceful, and our room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The pool was a lovely bonus—quiet and well maintained. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast that felt very personal. What truly made the stay special was Claire, the incredibly kind owner. When we faced a difficult situation, she was flexible, supportive, and genuinely caring. Her kindness made all the difference. We’re very grateful for the experience and would happily stay here again 😊

Beautiful pool area with lots of greenery around. The family were really kind & welcoming, always attentive to anything you need. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Great breakfast, smoothies were delicious. Close to everything you need. Shops massages & beach. Great place for solo travelling female, always felt safe. Thank you

“Excellent staff, highly recommend”
The owners were absolutely lovely! They were there to help whenever we needed it and have some great advice. The breakfast was perfect and filled us up all the way to dinner. Location was ideal, only 5/10mins to beach and main road but without the noise and chaos. You were able to book tours through them which were also really good. We arrived straight from the airport and they allowed us to take a nap by the pool whilst we waited for our room to be cleaned.

I really recommend this hotel, Negombo is the perfect stop after long trip or before long trip. And St Clair’s Green is the perfect spot in Negombo. Claire was amazing with us, here family too

Gorgeous place, rooms are big and very clean. Dip in the pool, is needed after a hot/ long day. 5 min walk from the street with restaurants and bars. Overall great place and location.
