A clean plain hotel at the edge of Negombo. Staff nice but could barely English. We got stood up for an arrange airport pickup.

The hotel offers an average standard, with well suited rooms for a short stay. There is a breakfast available at 3000 rupee, but otherwise a few other options in the neighbourhood. The seaside is located across the road and the beach is less touristy.

There was no airport pick up as promised, nor bikes to borrow

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. Firstly we were overcharged compared to what we had agreed on booking.com. The room was lovely and the pool was nice but we had other issues. There was rarely hot water in the bathroom and the mosquitoes and flies were a problem in the room. We had some beers by the pool and the next day received a bill that was double what we had paid anywhere else. The manager insisted we paid immediately. When checking out, 2 members of staff insisted we tipped them and ‘give money to my staff for giving you nice breakfast and nice holiday’. This is not professional and unfortunately left a sour taste at the end of our stay. Will not be staying here again. The hotel is also quite far from the centre of town so unless you have your own transport, you will need to get taxis into town.
