“It was one of my best holidays in Greece, definitely I would like to return someday...”

There are several things I would like to mention: • The location – the apartment is part of a duplex with very easy access from the main road and just 10–15 meters from the beach. Parking is not an issue, and if you travel by car during the day you can usually find shaded spots depending on the time of day. The promenade in the center of the resort is only a 5-minute walk away, as is the port. One of the best tavernas in town is right next door to the apartment and, despite always being busy, it doesn’t cause any disturbance in the evenings. The bedroom is at the back (not facing the street), making it very quiet if you want to sleep with the window open at night or take a nap during the day. Everything in the apartment is functional, new, and tastefully decorated. You have all the facilities you need, including a very charming and well-equipped kitchenette. • The host – Mrs. Maria is a wonderful and positive person who welcomed us on arrival and saw us off when we left. She gave us plenty of useful advice about nearby places and restaurants worth visiting. • The area – Nea Roda is a dream location, with 5–6 beaches within a radius of 5–6 km, a Lidl supermarket just 7 km away, and the extraordinary town of Ouranoupolis nearby, from where you can take various boat trips.

“A perfect holiday”

The new part of the village where the house is situated is spacious and quiet. The house is just in front of the beach- you only need to cross the road. Next to the house there is a very good taverna, but it does not mean it is noisy. In the house there are two similar apartments which consist of a bedroom and a living room. It is very clean, cosy and comfortable thete. Maria, the host is a nice hospitable and helpful person. So it was the perfect holiday that we needed.

“Greek hospitality at its best”

Location: I felt in love with this part of Halkidiki: Athos is less commercial than Sithonia or Thasos, I've enjoyed a lot the area. It resembles a bit with Tuscany ( a more arid Tuscany, ok :) ). The house is practically on the shoreline, as it name tells, it's 50m away from Nea Roda's eastern part of the beach. We did not stay at this beach however, there are many other gorgeous ones (Koumitsa, Kakkoudia, Xiropotami) at 15-20 min by car in any direction. 5km away, in Ierissos, you have 2 big supermarkets. All in all, very glad for my choice of Nea Roda: is quiet, you have some nice tavernas to chose from and is close to many wonderful beaches. Accommodation: Maria the host was very nice, she was very responsive to our questions/ requests. The house is clean and has everything you need plus extra compliments on top. It is split in 2 symmetrical apartments, each with its front and back door terrace. One apartment can accommodate a family with 1 child. The other one was not occupied during our stay, so cannot comment if would be noisy with a neighbor, but if there are 2 families travelling together/ or 2 pairs of friends, well, look no more, this is your perfect stay! We have enjoyed in some evenings drinking Retsina on the terrace, admiring the sunset, the sea and letting the Greek vibes sink in. All in all, great hospitality, 10/10, thank you, Maria!

“A nice place to recharge batteries”

The apartment has everything you need, just in front of the beach in a nice and not crowded place. It is clean, with a good air contidioner (especially during our stay, it was very hot outside). The host is a very nice person and tries to please you so that tourists have a comfortable stay. We had also a nice gift received, which is appreciable..many hosts do not practice this.

It was a fantastic holiday - the host Maria did everything to make us feel homie - there were compliments /fruit, wine,water,bread.../, she was always easy to communicate with. The place was with great location, clean, comfortable, next to the beach and delicious food in tavens around.....just what you need to feel summer vibes.

brand new villa at top location. Owners are super nice people. The villa is probably the best value for money we ever got for any of our trips to Greece ever. Highly recommend!
