The location of the mill was excellent, just under a 10 minute drive to Amboise. The place was amazing and furnished to a very high standard and it was so comfortable and the owners were friendly and welcoming. It was wonderful to hear the running water and take in the countryside.

Excellent host and amazing food. Very interesting old mill built over the river with waterwheel still inside the building. Large and beautifully decorated room overlooking the garden and river. Very quiet and comfortable. Ideally placed to explore the region.

Our host was friendly, accommodating and efficient. The room had everything we needed and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts and the dinners were outstanding, absolutely delicious. The location was convenient for traveling around the Loire Valley. It’s a magical place the grounds are beautiful and so peaceful and serene.

Very nice location, in a green and quiete environment in an old mill still visible today. The old mill vibes can be felt in all the structure offering a very peculiar stay.

The beautiful old gite and lovely room. We were able to enjoy time with a drink on the terrace after we checked in. Very relaxing place.

Great setting, lovely building and rooms.

Beautiful house that has been very lovingly restored by the owners and very tranquil grounds. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. We had the Table D'hote, which was a masterclass in cooking, turning simple ingredients into something special. Very tasty. The owners were also very hospitable, providing a place to store and charge our electric bikes overnight.

A wonderful French renovated property with river running through the centre of building. Our room was very large and facilities perfect. The 3 course evening meal was excellent and excellent value.

Evening meal & breakfast were very good! Pierre, the host, was friendly & welcoming , though we didn’t see Amandine until we left. Location was good for accessing Amboise.

A very special place to stay, will definitely be returning. Make sure if you are staying to book to enjoy the delicious evening meals that Pierre and his wife prepare. They are both perfect hosts. The beds are so so comfortable….we slept like logs. Visit the Romaric Rochette winery (a mile away) and buy some of their delicious wine (which Pierre serves).
