An absolutely magical place! This property has a beautiful, intimate boutique-style feel that really makes it stand out. Our room was excellent—very comfortable, beautifully appointed, and full of character. The greens surrounding the place are wonderful!! What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the warm hospitality and the personal touch from the hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of during our time in the Loire Valley. Even before reaching there, I had shot down quite a few mails, asking for suggestions and help. Every mail of mine was answered promptly, and the team provided excellent insights and inputs for every query of mine. Thank you Veronique and Eve for everything!! If you are looking for a unique, peaceful getaway with exceptional, personalized service, this is exactly the place to stay. Highly recommended!

“A lovely place with a couple of things needing a little attention”

The chateau was lovely, set in to the hillside overlooking a river. The room was very pretty - typically french with a lovely window and beautiful views. We didn't use the downstairs sitting room but it looked lovely and comfortable.

the room was exceptionally large and comfortable. it was actually like living in a castle. breakfast was rich, fresh and tasty! Veronique and the staff are friendly and helpful and always there with a good advise!

Lovely, quiet property with a number of different sized self contained units, some of which are built into the side of the rockface. Nice size swimming pool, although we didn’t use this facility as the weather was fairly cool and it is unheated. Staff were very helpful and approachable and happy to make restaurant reservations for you, if desired. Breakfast is available onsite at an additional cost but we didn’t take this up as we are not big breakfast eaters. Liked the eco friendly toiletries provided and the disposable slippers. Nespresso coffee machine provided with a couple of pods too.

What’s not to like about staying in a 500 year old castle? Wonderful view from our castle window, beautiful gardens surrounding the chateau, warm and welcoming staff and close to all the major chateaux and the beautiful town of Amboise.

We had a wonderful time at the chateau! The grounds were breathtaking and had such a relaxing atmosphere. Our room was super comfortable and spacious, perfect for our family of three. We all really loved the breakfast and pool areas too. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made our stay even better!

Really authenticate old French property with some modern upgrades to a high standard

Very nice little château to relax after a day of sightseeing around Amboise. We very much enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was with only local produce and very tasty, can definitely recommend it!

A magnificent fairytale stay. My biggest regret is that we only booked for one night. Our trip felt like luxury from our arrival; we were greeted by wonderful staff who allowed us to check in early. Despite other hotel guests, the chateau felt like our own haven with plenty of space around the pool, gardens and spacious bedroom area; the sound of the birds and the gardeners floating around the grounds offered relaxation with incredible views. The staff were flawless and couldn’t do enough for us, even offering us a ride into town for our meal (we recommend L’Ecluse - booking required!). The breakfast was sensational with a wide range of pastry, bread, fruit and their own honey; we were asked for personal preferences and fresh juice and boiled eggs were presented. The local wine offered an even further essence of authenticity which we enjoyed looking over the Loire Valley from the garden. The pool area is unique and like nothing we have experienced before, a suntrap all day long with comfortable loungers. Poppy the dog was additionally a great member of the team!
