“A charming chateau vacation”
The chateau and its grounds are fantastic . We had booked a twin room but were given an upgrade to bigger room . The highlight of our visit were the two dinners we had at the chateau - on the terrace one night and once in the dining room - catered for by the owners and great vegetarian Italian food . Breakfast was very fresh with pastries / fruit and home made treats

We absolutely loved our stay here; Lodovica and Patrick have created such a special place and are charming, interesting hosts. The château is beautiful, with a sense of calm and relaxation throughout. The rooms are gorgeous, the grounds and pool are stunning and the breakfast is truly amazing. We fully recommend having dinner at the château as Lodovica's Italian cooking is excellent and it's delightful to get to know other guests while enjoying the terrace.

“A little slice of heaven in the Loire valley”
What a wonderful 4 night stay at Château de la Huberdière. Patrick & Lodovica are fantastic hosts, both of them are so friendly and welcoming. No ask too big and so willing to help. The grounds themselves are spectacular; so peaceful and with plenty of space to explore. And the chateaux - just wow. Very tastefully decorated. Plenty of space to relax, whatever the weather. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. You won’t regret having dinner either, very good vegetarian food cooked by Lodovica, and very good value. Not a bad word to say about this place, we cannot wait to stay again. If you’re considering booking, stop thinking about it and do it! I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The Chateau has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard evidenced by how clean the rooms were and plumbing that wasn't just an add on to an old system. Furnishings and decoration were tasteful and in keeping with the property and setting. The owners were friendly and accommodating and helpful when help was needed. It was nice that they didn't want to rush anybody at breakfast because, as they said, you were there on holiday. A nice thing to say.

We had a wonderful stay at Chateau de la Huberdière. Patrick and Lodovica were wonderful hosts, giving us excellent recommendations for visits and restaurants in the area, and booked for us a private visit of a winemaker of the region (in English). The beds are very comfy, the rooms spacious, clean & tastefully decorated and the breakfast all homemade which was lovely. The place is 10min away from Amboise and is a good base to visit the castles of the region. We were really made to feel at home here and we will definitely come back!

“A quiet corner of paradise”
Incredibly hospitable hosts, a charming castle in the middle of nature. We could see deers from the castle, we played with the 4 cats, we took long walks on the domain. It was quiet and relaxing and beautiful. We would come back any day!

“Best stay in France”
A lovely property away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to everything. The chateau itself is stunning and very tastefully decorated. The owners are charming and the food was amazing. I can’t recommend this property enough.
