“A little disappointing”

We liked the view from the main lounge bay window and free parking outside. The friendly local convenience store lived up to its name. There is plenty of storage. The air con/heaters were good in each room. The no smoking was a good point although one of the residents in the block clearly smoked in the communal entrance hall,

“Clean and comfy stay with great breakfast view.”

First and most importantly: everything was spotlessly clean! The owner/manager was very friendly and responsive to messages. There were a few "start-up" issues which got all settled quickly and to my fullest satisfaction. All my requests and questions were responded to positively and quickly (e.g. second set of keys, availability of late check-out). A small well-stocked convenience shop is very near, for 'emergency' groceries, toiletries, etc. Some amenities (selection of teas, etc) in kitchen and bathroom were provided. The style of building and facilities is modern, as shown on pictures. The kitchen had a hob, oven, kettle, toaster, microwave and big fridge; everything worked. The view onto the bird park sanctuary is great. Car parking was never a problem, there always were spaces along the residential road. There was a bit of a 'knack' necessary to get the water pump for the shower started. It does work and plenty hot water was available. Wifi was great. The bed rooms are very quiet, but noise from main road can be heard from living room balcony. Having a portable fan was useful to help circulate warm air.
