“Best yurt camp around Song-Kul”

Everything was amazing. The staff are the most friendly Kyrzyg people you will ever meet. It’s a family owned business with people born and raised around the Song - Kul lake. The horse trip they organized for us was a breathtaking experience taking us deep into the flowing hills and mountains around the lake. The food was amazing and if you ask you can use the sauna which was an amazing experience combined with the altitude of 3000 meters. The yurts are cozy, warm and clean and some are raised on ea platform which makes for a very comfortable night

Truely beautiful place, possibly unique in the entire world. Comfortable yurt with heating! Slept like babies. Good food and easy to arrange horse riding which was a lot of fun

Song Kul is a must destination and this accommodation offers a comfortable and warm roof over your head. I think I slept here the best out of all the destinations in Kyrgyzstan. The blankets are so soft and heavy, you won't feel the heaviest of the colds. The family is accomodating and friendly. As 4 vegan people, we felt accommodated and put needs were met 100%.

Wow the peace and quiet was amazing, the food was excellent and the family was so friendly it is just excellent.

The family that was hosting us were really friendly and always looking forward to help us in any way The surrounding was just breathtaking

“Unforgettable experience”

It's really difficult to put into words the magic of this place. Starting from the big and clean yurts, the attentiveness of all.the member of the family that runs the camp, the tasty food, and last but not least the activities available at the camp (horse riding, cooking demonstrations, archery), this facility offers everything to make their guests experience unforgettable. You will be very close to the lake and therefore have the chance to enjoy the different colors of the waters as the day goes by, see a lot of birds, horses, cows and donkeys, be amazed by the spectacular sunsets. A special thank to the lady owner of the camp, she was the sweetest ever. I hope I will be back

The location, on the skirts of Song Kul, is the highlight. The peace and beauty of the place is amazing and it's a great spot to take it all in.

“Yurt camp”

Nice location but the lake side is tricky to walk to due to some backwaters. A yurt is basic though so no facilities to talk about. These people can only earn from March to Sept. Yurts have no windows so no view other than through the door opening.

“Great 2 nights stay”

Family run (not by some travel agency) yurt camp with really hospitable people. We stayed 2 nights and enjoy it a lot: ride horses, play football, walk to the lake, eat tasty food Toilets are fine: have automatic LED lights at night, two squat type and one with seat 😊 Owners suggested alternate route to Bishkek via Naryn, which is longer, but more scenic and road is better mantained

Great experience in front of a high mountain lake sleeping in a yurt. The family is very hospitable, the food is good and you can go horse riding. at night they turn on the stove in the yurt so you don't get cold!!

“An authentic experience, purely and the most beautiful part of Kyrgyzstan we’d seen!”

It’s a Yurt with beds in it, nothing more. But it’s on the best location we thought of Kyrgyzstan since there is absolutely nothing there but beautiful surroundings, nature, horses. They made even showers and toilets. There is no internet, only at night a bit of electricity. They warm your yurt while you have dinner. Be sure to bring warm clothes and good shoes. If you drive up there, there’s a beautiful but difficult pass you can take. We loved it, cause it was so pure and you can imagine the Silk Road was like this. I hope nothing changes there ever. It was ever so much more beautiful and purely than Issyk Kul. You can ride horses there.

“Great stay at son kol lake”

Very nice location by the lake, yurts were warm enough at night thanks to the stoves, food was pretty good and the staff were great and friendly (they were especially helpful and patient with our inability to ride horses!). They also helped us arranging a transfer to get to Kochkor for a good price.
