Overview
Thank you for your understanding and support as we navigate post-Hurricane Ian recovery efforts. Our team is working diligently to restore LaPlaya to the modern tropical splendor we all know and love. Throughout this process, the safety and wellbeing of our members, guests and staff continues to be our highest priority. The resort has begun a phased reopening as of late January 2023 with the opening of select accommodations, private beach access, a satellite location of SpaTerre, elements Bar, Boutique LaPlaya, and a temporary beach bar and grill. “Relaxing stay with room for improvement at La Playa Hotel”
Firstly, I must commend the exceptional beach view room that instantly transported me to a state of relaxation and allowed me to connect with the mesmerizing beauty of the Mexican Gulf. The friendly, professional, and well-trained Front of House team also contributed positively to my stay, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. On a positive note, the yoga sessions on the green in front of the beach were delightful and added value to my stay. The breathtaking sunset view was a highlight, although I found it necessary to secure a booking for the best seat in advance.

The staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and ensured they went out of their way to make my experience perfect. The facility was very clean, the maid service did a great job and the beach umbrellas were a great touch!

Courteous staff, especially Josh at the pool. Very welcoming and friendly, met all our needs quickly and efficiently. Front desk was very accommodating, concerns were resolved quickly.
