Amazing hosts, picked us up with a cute little name plaque, gave us rice balls for the travel back to Tokyo and a lift to the ferry. Very clean, and a great size. Lots of snack, even fruit which was lovely.

The hosts of this private exceptionally clean and comfortable property generously provided snacks and a well stocked fridge of food if you chose to eat in. You have all amenities available for washing and drying clothes, air conditioning etc. The doonas which were like clouds, so soft and cosy provided a sound sleep after a busy day.

Masako and her husband were the most wonderful hosts, going out of their way for their guests. The house was perfect, in quiet surroundings in beautiful Honmura. E-bikes for the guests to get around the island.

The home was very comfortable and well organised. We immediately felt at home. It had everything we needed - and more! We even had delicious breakfast and food supplies provided in the fridge and pantry for us to create a nice meal. The home is in a good location and they provided nice e-bicycles for us to get around the island. The hosts are really lovely people! They were very helpful and kind.

Our host did everything to ensure we had an excellent stay. He picked us up at the port and lent us bicycles. The breakfast was plentiful.

The owners were super friendly and went out of their way to help. The property was immaculately prepared and felt like home. The complimentary e-bikes meant you could ride to all the locations you wanted to see and to restaurants. Highly recommended and we would happily book here again

Fantastic location and generous hosts - Matsuko picked us up at the airport! E-bikes were arranged and part of the accommodation fee, which was unexpected and excellent. So many snacks and fresh food made for our whole family to take with us on the ferry home. An outstanding stay.

“Everything was 100% perfect!”

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this guesthouse. The house itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and perfectly organized. The location is great and very convenient for exploring the island. But the true highlight was the hosts, especially Ms. Masako Bandai. They always replied incredibly quickly, gave us great tips for the island and for the ferry connections, and even picked us up by car from the other side of the island and brought us back. This level of hospitality is truly exceptional. We were also able to use electric bicycles for free and keep them until the next day, which made exploring even easier. At the end of our stay, they even gave us a Polaroid photo of us as a souvenir – such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. The hosts were genuinely kind, warm and incredibly helpful. Everything was perfect. We can recommend this place 100%!

Simple and comfortable property right near honmura port and the art house project. The hosts are super super warm people. There was plenty for us to eat and what stood out is they dropped us to the museum and also the port later. Went out of their way.

The Host provided us with everything possible you could want for breakfast, they went out of their way to help us with everything, even driving us to the restaurant and the other side of the island to the museum. They were the most wonderful hosts I have come across, and I would recommend their Guest House to friends.

“A very special stay”

We had the most wonderful stay. Masako and her husband went above and beyond to take care of us—helping us get tickets to the Chichu Art Museum, picking us up from the port, making dinner reservations and even dropping us off at the izakaya and offering to pick us up afterwards. They also lent us e-bikes so that we could cycle around the island and drove us back to the port at the end of our stay (taking the scenic route so we could take photos). The house was spotless, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with food and drinks. Their generosity and kindness truly made our visit so special, and it's something we will never forget. Thank you so much for everything.

The hosts went above abd beyond with their welcoming hospitality- transporting us around the island, stocking our fridge, preparing us lunch for the day of departure. The house itself is lovely and the ebikes were fantastic.
