Very good location and the staff was very nice, they helped store our luggage while we went outside to se the town before we had to take the train. Just what you need for a quick stop in Nantes

Hotel has a great central location. Room was very simply furnished but all essentials were there and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I had a room at the back of the building which was on 4th floor. There was a window that opened and I loved being able to leave it open through the night. That part of Nantes is somewhat on the flight path for the airport so there was the occasional plane flying overhead. That was not a problem for me; otherwise the room was very quiet. The hotel is located very near the Chateau and the Cathedral. It is also exceeding convenient for the principal train station and for other transport links by bus and metro around the city and to the airport. We loved the fact that all public transport except the airport bus was free at the weekend and also some ( not all) of the attractions were also free. The cost of our rooms was not expensive. I thought it was good value and it suited our requirements perfectly. The staff were very helpful. The shower worked well and the water was lovely and hot.

“Great location but very basic”

The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Nantes so everything is walkable. There was a guy at reception who was also at breakfast who was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate for a one night stay but the bathroom was not great as the shower was broken. The attachment to hold the shower head to the wall was snapped, so you had to hold the shower head. Also the toilet was very high from the floor, feet did not touch the floor and you had to jump off it. Children would really struggle.
