“Tasteful decor, friendly staff and access to the garden”

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel — the staff was very friendly and polite, the garden was lovely, and the interior was beautifully and tastefully decorated. The room was comfortable, and although the hotel is not located in the city center, it is well connected, with a bus line providing easy access to downtown.

“A hidden gem”

Simple arrival procedure emailed to us ahead of arrival as reception would not be open made for easy entrance after a long journey. Our room was spacious, well equipped and immaculately clean. The bed was excellent, perhaps the best we've had at any hotel! Friendly host and a generous breakfast in pretty garden room all added to our enjoyment.

Hôtel Coeur De Loire was an exceptional place to stay. The pictures on the booking.com website don't do the property justice as the overall atmosphere, room facilities, cleanliness and location were much better than I expected. I stayed in a second room floor which was was compact but everything that a traveller needs had been thought about (suitcase rack, in bathroom hairdryer, bedside tables, plenty of sockets, a fridge and lamps). The owners were very welcoming as well with pre-arrival communications excellent. The hotel is located to the north of the city centre with regular bus services. The services are so frequent that you only have to wait a few minutes and a bus will turn up. The bus takes about 5 minutes to get to the centre of town.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Nantes, 20mins walking distance to the main centre ville. Very clean rooms and lovely hosts.

It's a little outside of the centre, but the better for it (not least because parking is so expensive), and easy to walk into town (20 mins) or catch and bus/tram from. Lovely owner who gave us loads of great information (there is a sheet with local and central restaurants). Great room with a garden view, very clean and with good furnishings and bathroom. There is a safe, a fridge and a kettle. Would go again without a doubt. They obviously put a lot of love and care into the place.

“Great quirky hotel for a city break in Nantes”

Very friendly helpful staff , ideally situated for public transport C2bus literally around the corner and trams within walking distance . Quiet street, you can walk into the centre , about 15-20 mins or catch the bus . The room was small but comfortable.
