Great value for money! I stayed there for 1 night before my bus trip with Citylink. I booked the twin room and it was really clean and tidy! I had to share a bathroom on the floor but that was also very clean. The staff were kind and helped me book a taxi and also checked on me before I had to leave for the bus (as it was at 3am). Even though I stayed only 1 night, I felt welcomed.

It was really nice, clean, hot water, good wifi.

Good location, close to two large supermarkets, pharmacies, a local bakery and a few local restaurants. There is a cooking area, a shared fridge and cooking utensils for self-caterers The team and kind owner are familiar with hosting backpackers and longtime travellers and will make you feel immediately at home The dorm is located in a large “safari tent” equipped with fans and all kind of plugs

Nice, spacious room and house in general with a big garden. The kitchen has all you need. Some cultural activities happen there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ate there the best matapa I had in Mozambique

Great value for money. Very nice and helpful staff. Beware that Ruby's offers films and little concerts two or three times a week, starting at 19:00, ending at 21:30 hrs. That time can be a bit noisy. But from 21:30 on it is quiet.

the lady (receptionist) that received me at the entrance made me problem with my reservation. I visited already Ruby many times I usually use to book from Booking, but that day I couldn't because my net was off. When I arrived she recognized my and she tried to charge me 2000mts instead 1600 mts/night (I usually pay: the price from booking). I said her that I got net problems and I couldn't do it before but I could do there the reservation. The place was completely empty (no host in the house) and she didn't accept, she was uneducated and rude to me, saying me (usual Ruby host) that "you can go out" (and was late and I called also to reserve the room before, and I'm usual host there). Fortunately, she was finishing their turn at the job and the new receptionist accept me and apologize for the way she was speaking to me and he host me at the usual price. This report I wrote this for the owner to try to find better staff for this amazing place to stay.

The staff is great! The communication was good and the place is beautiful and clean.

Kind and supportive staff. Friendly environment. We used the common kitchen a lot as I was travelling with a baby and I needed to prepare her meals. My family enjoyed spending time in the garden while I was working during the day.
