Location was a little difficult to find. Host was very friendly and helpful. you could order food so although place was away from all the shops you had everything you needed.

“Very nice quiet place.”
Everything was perfect, clean and nice. There was common kitchen where we could do breakfast. The host was so kind and treated us with mango. Thank you !

“Calm, relaxing, friendly place”
Lovely place. Attention to detail. Care and thought in each space. Lovely and clean. Great shared kitchen. We stayed in air conditioned room which was def a bonus as would have been warm at night otherwise. Mid-way between Nicoya and Santa Cruz - plenty of places to eat, shop and we found a nice hike behind Nicoya. Sweet pet dogs and cats onsite Also chickens and opportunity to buy their fresh eggs. Very nice energy, calm, relaxed and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Would choose again. We heard Howler monkeys one night and morning cockerel chorus added to the charm and experience. Great value for money in nice family run rooms.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's located very near a the road to Nicoya and Santa Cruz. The room was very clean and everything worked fine.

A great “real Tico” homestay; loved the morning tour of the compound by Shirley’s husband - a literal self-sustaining ecosystem with chickens, fish farm, multiple fruit trees.

“We didn't stay bc they gave away 1 of our rooms & didn't tell us until we were on the way”
Poor communication. They were not willing to take responsibility for their error, blaming it on my late confirmation and "a problem with the app". Because of this, they gave our room away. They communicated this error when I was on the plane and left us with no suitable options since it was nearly 10pm when we landed. My family (my husband, toddler and pregnant me) wanted a place to rest after a full day of travel. Disappointing

The price vs quality, perfect, just what we needed for 1 night stay on our travels through peninsula Nicoya, hot water, secure parking, normally we do not care about the TV in the room as we just don't watch it, but as a tennis fan it was nice to be able to watch the Wimbledon final before we hit the road again 😁

Great host,very friendly and helpful. Bus stop nearby if you need to go in the center. Great value for money especially for a private room+kitchen.
