The location was excellent in a picturesque part of Nakatsugawa. It was clean and well maintained. The 3rd bedroom was not appealing to us as it required access via a ladder

Loved the bright open light presentation. Perfect location amongst the old town and nice walk to the station. Staff were very responsive to our queries. We were a party of eight and it worked well. The futons on top of a mattress was comfortable for our seniors. Would highly recommend

Charming Ryokan style property. Big room with lounge and dining table. We stayed for 1 night after hiking part of the Nakasendo trail. Excellent helpful host who arranged a shabu-shabu dinner to be brought in for us and drove us to the train station next day

The location of the apartment on the old Nakasendo route was a real bonus although it was a bit far to the station.

Lovely location, close to some great restaurants, clean and can accomodate a group comfortably.

We had a great stay here! The property was super clean and roomy. As a couple our beds were set up in the front room where the mountain is pictured on the wall, however there was more than enough space. It was perfect for us to spend a day on the Nakasendo trail. About a 10 - 15 minute walk to the train station. The host was also very responsive and allowed us to check in early :)

loved the spacious and well-appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, and the very Scandinavian minimalist and clean interior. Was quiet. Great location in the historic part of town, less than 1km to a major shopping mall with Starbucks and great food court with all the standard Japanese favourites like Tonkatsu, yakisoba, tempura, sushi, the lot. "Naiki" around the corner has fabulous bento boxes, made fresh to order in the morning if you wish. Free parking nearby (a rarity). Lovely historic detailing in the area with signs in English and Japanese giving the history of buildings etc. Really nicely done.
