The location was excellent , we enjoyed viewing up close the hippos, zebras and waterbucks which were moving freely throughout the grounds. View of the lake was excellent. Customer service and checking and checking out process was great. Food buffet especially dinner was great, should increase the variety options for breakfast and consider including atleast one soft drink in the dinner/lunch buffet.

I booked this for its close proximity to crescent island for my birthday. the hotel itself the staff , dinning experience and the location was excellent. Loved being able to walk amongst the animals on the ground. Good selection of meals , breakfast tea and dinner. It’s a short drive to all other experiences too. Wonderful location on the lake. I enjoyed the personal touch and its coziness.

We almost didn’t book this hotel after reading the reviews on booking.com, but we are so happy we did! Compared to the other hotels on Lake Naivasha this hotel was the most reasonably priced which was the main reason we chose it. However, we are so pleased that we stayed here - the grounds are beautiful, the staff are extremely friendly, the food is delicious and the hippos (!!!!) on the lawn at night are such a cool sight to see!! We considered doing a boat ride, but the birds/wildlife that you can see from the hotel, and the hippos feeding nearby during the day and then on the lawn at night meant that we didn’t need to, we could see so much from the hotel. But all felt very safe, there are security staff who will accompany you to and from your room at night. In previous reviews I saw there is mention of the rooms needing to be upgraded. We booked a standard room, which was lovely (and the bed very comfy). The bathroom was a little tired looking (the reason for the score of 9), but spacious and clean - and not a reason not to stay here.

Best hotel of Kenya. Everything was amazing! There are so many animals, good food, kind and helpful stuff. We want to go back in the future.
