“Look no further!”
I have been coming to Nairobi for work and leisure for many years. Edaala Comfort is a calm oasis that has become my favourite place to stay. Gracious hosts and helpful staff, a beautiful garden with flowers and fruit trees, a small gym, a children’s play area, convenient for the national park, elephant orphanage, the giraffe centre and some of Nairobi’s best restaurants. The city centre is a 20 minute ride in an Uber/Bolt for very little money. They have a range of rooms and several cosy cottages to suit most budgets. A continental or cooked breakfast on the veranda overlooking the garden is an excellent way to start the day. Look no further for a place to stay in Nairobi.

Jane and Bernhard were the most kindest and welcoming hosts we could have wished for. The accomodation is peaceful with a lovely garden. We enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect start for our trip.

After 4 nights in a 5* international hotel in the centre attending a conference, Edaala provided a fantastic alternative. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Our hosts were responsive to our messages and provided excellent recommendations for dinner. Great value. Ubers found the place very easily and were an affordable way to get around.

“A haven of peace in Karen area where we were able to relax before our safari”
Location was very nice. the house and garden are beautiful and also the cottage we stayed in was very charming and tasteful, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one living room/kitchen. the staff was wonderful bringing us hot bottles for the bed at night. The breakfast was also very good. We had a 4 h delay arriving in Nairobi by air and the staff waited and was still very nice even if it was past 1 am.

“Great place to stay near the Nairobi National Park”
Loved the rustic feel of the cottages and the garden is really lovely. There's most of everything you need including cooking utensils and tupperware dishes (much like a serviced apartmnet). Breakfast is not included but comes at 10 USD per person. It is a substantial breakfast (some fruit, pastries, cakes etc) so worth it. The area is lush, green with lots of birds and is safe.

I booked quite last minute (around 9hrs prior to going) and was happy that the hosts communicated with me promptly and were able to receive me late night. All the facilities were nice, clean and comfortable. The room had a little kitchenette for tea/coffee, bidet shower in the bathroom and warm water bottles placed on the bed for the cold Nairobi nights, which made the stay comfortable

“An Oasis in Nairobi”
Bernard and his wife, Jane, have created an oasis in Nairobi. They have thought of everything one needs and have done so in style and comfort. The rooms are stylish and spacious with a quality mattress, bath and shower with serious heat and water pressure. The kitchen is well kitted out for self-catering. The lounge is spacious. Rooms come with a terrace. One can BBQ on a grill. Breakfasts are hearty and generous: great coffee/tea, fresh breads, fresh fruit, pancakes/flapjacks/crumpets, crepes, eggs to order, yoghurts, juices, cereals... To top it off there's space, peace and quiet and a wonderful team that goes out of their way to make one feel at home.

“Great African style property with warm welcome.”
This is a tranquil spot in an upmarket leafy area of Nairobi. We stayed in a thatched roofed African chalet with two big bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a living area and kitchen. Bernard and Jane made us very welcome, even bringing us board games for the family. We had a nice breakfast at a small extra charge, served on the terrace. The grounds are stunning and if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay particularly at the end of a trip, I definitely recommend this property. It's a family business and well worth supporting.
