“Isolated but noisy hotel for organised groups transported by large coaches.”

Being honest and generous, this hotel feels like a 3-star or less. The atmosphere is like in a very small village in the deepest Austrian or German countryside. Very noisy and full of organised groups of German-speaking tourists transported by large coaches. There're very few parking spaces on the street (the most of them reserved for large coaches) and we were offered paid parking despite the hotel's private free parking being entirely empty. The lake views shown in the hotel's profile are non-existent, a car and several kilometres driving is required to catch even a distant glimpse of the lake. The hotel is absolutely isolated without a car. Common facilities were small, noisy and overcrowded, especially the restaurant and mini-spa...

Dinners were exceptional quality and value

I love this family run hotel. It's really a home from home. I have been coming there for over 10 years and each time the staff and service make me smile and relax. It's spotless and the food is amazing. Super comfy beds

“An average experience”

The hotel was nice and clean, the room of a decent size though lacking any good storage. It was good to see activities like pool and foosball and having a Pool was a bit of a bonus though a little chilly and a bit of a walk away from the hotel

Pool is nice, although it could be warmer. Sauna was great. The bar with pool game is very attractive

The restaurant was exceptional, with a very varied breakfast and dinner menu. The bar had great entertainment shows. Our room had a spectacular view towards the city. The beds were very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Very nice touch (pun intended :) ) with the protective sleeve for the TV remote. The outside pool area was nice. There was also an indoors pool which looked very well, but we didn't get a chance to try it. We appreciated the warm welcome we received and the surprise gift in our room. There is a private parking area up the hill, behind the hotel, next to the entrance for the outside pool. There is also the option of paid indoors parking. The location of the hotel is very nice if you're traveling by car, with spectacular views of the surrounding area.

My ratings are based on experiences during previous stays in Italy, ranging from very cheap to quite exclusive, and I try to give as objective a review as possible. A good hotel. Correct. Polite. Neat. BREAKFAST: OK (certainly the lady at the stove who clearly enjoys life). We only found it a bit strange that it was always a hassle to get a table assigned. FITNESS: Quite bare. A water fountain should be possible. But especially to provide extra ventilation. ROOM: I had a 1-person room with a single bed. My children a 2-person room. In my room the TV was completely in the corner. So from bed you watched TV at an angle of 45°. Not so comfy. In the end, the little time that I watched TV, I did via my tablet or notebook. WIFI: good PARKING: for an additional fee you have underground parking. There is also a charging station (2 cars) but the places were always taken by non-electric cars. LOCATION: Nago-Torbole. In itself ok. Quiet and away from the busier downtown. Perfect for people who go from there into the mountains to cycle or walk. To go to Lake Garda itself, you best take the car. By bike is possible. On the way there ... downhill. On the way back ... steeply uphill ;p
