Boasting ski-to-door access from Togakushi Ski Area a 1-minute walk away, Togakushi-Kogen Minshuku Rindo offers Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi, drinks vending machines and barbecue facilities. It features a hot public bath and a garden. Ski storage facilities are on-site. Minshuku Rindo is a 2-minute walk from Kamitsuge public hot spring bath, and a 5-minute walk from theme park Ninja Village and the Togakushi Forest Botanical Garden, while Togakushi Farm is a 10-minute drive. JR Nagano Station is 60 minutes by public bus from Chusha-Miyamae bus stop, a 5-minute walk from the property. The Shinomachi expressway exit is a 20-minute drive. The Minshuku Togakushi-Kogen sells ski passes and packed lunches, while luggage storage is available. Guests can go hiking or play golf nearby. Free parking is available. Rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding. They’re fitted with a low table with seating cushions, a TV and an electric fan. Toilets and bathing facilities are shared. They serve dinner and breakfast for 2200 and 1100 yen respectively. If you plan to explore Togakushi shrine without a car it is very conviniently located.

“Good spot for skiing, temples and shrine walk, and the view. The host was very helpful and friendly.”
Breakfast and dinner were nutritious, the location was very close to the lift which operates on weekends. The views were fantastic. The owner provided transportation to and from the main lift otherwise. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Simple, down to earth minshuku in an amazing area, super convenient to walk around the 5 Togakushi Shrines. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Food was simple yet delicious.

“The ski resort is excellent .”
Good location for weekend skiing when the lift behind the property is operating then it’s ski in ski out . The manager will drive you to the slopes on other days . Rooms are great large Japanese style. Food very Japanese . Discount lift tickets can be bought from the hotel.

Although we mostly communicated through Google translate, everyone was extremely friendly and hospitable. They even drove me to the bus station to help me with a big bag in the snow. Dinners were delicious, a plus since there isn't much open after about 5 o 6pm. The room was large, clean and had plenty of extra space for bags. It's a cool experience to stay in a typical ryokan in a little village.

This is a no frills property. The owner will give u an introduction really quickly. The room is really big tho. The property is about 8min walk from the chuusha bus stop, there is a mini slope along the way too. I ordered breakfast and dinner with my stay since togakushi restaurants generally close really early. I think the food is basic, its certainly not a spread. With the price paid, i think its ok
