“Rural life and products on full display”

Watching farm life, the breakfast and great restaurant. Staff were excellent. Cabin was very clean and comfortable.

Nice room, spacious, comfortable beds. Everything was clean and the room had amenities. Easy parking. Breakfast was fantastic. Location is good if you are in the area and driving. For us, it was perfect for a stop and rest.

Super place. The rooms were really cosy and clean. The breakfast was exceptional and the restaurant has stunning views and dinner was really tasty. Service was excellent.

Vogafjos farm is a great place to stay. The food here is by far the best we’ve had in any place in Iceland. Value for money is also excellent - we paid more or less as we paid on other places but here the price includes an excellent breakfast. You can see the cows from the restaurant (-!: visit them), the general view from the restaurant is great, and at night it was sark enough to spot the aurora. The staff is also very nice and helpful. It’s run by local people who care a lot about the place and you can notice it It’s located next to many geothermal sites

“Exceptional stay”

Vogafjós Farm was the first guesthouse we stayed when visited Myvatn for the first time in 2012. We stayed here repeatedly and watched it grew over the years. It was always a pleasure staying here, comfortable room, friendly staff. Food in the restaurant was great. Perhaps a bonus was that we saw northern light outside after dinner twice and this was only at 8:30 pm. We also saw the lights outside of the cabin we stayed across the road for both nights we stayed here!

What an amazing experience staying at the farm resort. Everything was perfect with very friendly and helpful staff, a warm and cosy cabin room and great food served for dinner and breakfast. Would highly recommend and pleased we were in off season to enjoy the resort in peace and quiet.

Great location for exploring the Myvatn area. Excellent restaurant with fantastic staff.

This is by far the cutest hotel I’ve stayed at!! The farm cows are lovely, the staff are, the room is super cosy. The location is amazing too. Highly recommend!!

Very unique! The cottages give you a sense of a skiresort cabin, very cozy wooden paneling, spacious and clean. The restaurant is a gem! You can dine and have breakfast with a view on the farms cows (which you can also pet!!). The food is really good and they serve dishes made from products of the farm such as lovely cheeses but also the lamb was amazing!

This dream is a MUST if you pass through Mývatn! cozy rooms, excellent Restaurant and extremely friendly staff. This is the second time that we’ve stayed here and I would highly recommend this wonderful location..

We loved Vogafjós! The accommodation was very comfortable (great beds) and food and drinks at the restaurant were exceptional! Loved being able to pat the cows.
